Probably won't happen often but you just never know when somebody's going to think up the next big way of using the internet. Each time they do, they know they can use the semantics of HTML for parsing a page and doing something with it. Whereas, they can't (easily) count on a table as being for layout or not....and they probably won't take the extra effort -n- time to add code to figure it all out. Who wouldn't want the free publicity that something like that could bring for your site?

Re: The importance of semantic markup

It also makes it easier for a third-party developer/programmer to do something interesting with your site. But I can't help but think that any spambot could easily scrape whatever's in the @class='email' and then try a few algorithms to figure out what might work and if something can't be done with it then just append it to a file and have a human see if he can read it and then shove it into a database. I don't know, it just seems near impossible since there's a specific defined area to grab.

Re: Paint.NET 3.0 released

I love this gradient tool, but...for some strange reason I can't get it to save what I do. It just saves the image without the gradient applied. I can't figure out why and I can't seem to find anything via google that helps. It's driving me nuts. Any idea why?

Re: Cool Download – ALZip

Oh this is good. I've been looking for a new freeware zip program. It can be a little tough to find one that opens bz2 files (which I use often). Thanks for the tip.
