This is a shame indeed. I try not to watch too much TV, but AD is/was a great show. At least we got more episodes than Freaks and Geeks (which was awesome, although I was not aware of it until the guy at my local (independent) video store reccomended the DVD's to us.

Sometimes the great programs never catch on, sometimes the mediocre ones go on forever. I wish there could be some kind of free agency system with television programs where another network could bid on shows that are canned by other networks. I would think that anyone from HBO to Comedy Central to Apple iTunes could have a good run with the Arrested Development franchise.

My wife and I went here for a drink about a month ago before having dinner at Ciao Vito (which left a lot to be desired in our opinion) across the street. My first reaction was that this was the mismatched end result of years of gentrification in the area, but we warmed up to the bustling, modern atmosphere quickly. The food looked great, and seemed fairly affordable for such a space... We opted for booze instead of beer (or food), and weren't dissapointed with their well-crafted coctails one bit. We'd go back for sure. There appeared to be some kind of art show going on upstairs by the starwars-esque gangplank.

Cheers to rick for putting this adventure together. This was the most fun I've had in a while.
