in Biggest Loser Australia 3×69: Train the Trainers, Audition Tape Redux and Dream Outfits Day! on The Biggest Loser Recap
Garry is the second largest contestant ever on any Biggest Loser, according to wiki. So, it is probably not suprising that he has the largest weight loss you have seen.

in Biggest Loser Australia 3×68: Week 11 Elimination on The Biggest Loser Recap
Great work, Karngga.
I too was doing the sums last week about each contestant's potential loss if they reach their goal weight.
I think Allison and Garry are too far away from their goal weights to really be a look in. Looking at Garry's up and down performance and the fact he will have to do it on the ouside without 24/7 supervision, just isn't going to be possible. As for Allison, well, I worry that when she gets home to the husband, kids and stess of her normal daily life that it might be hard to sustain the same intensity that she has going in the white house.
Kirsten is very tall. I think getting under her goal weight of 70kg will require a huge amount of work even as little as 5kgs under.
I don't think Bryce started heavy enough to be a real contender. But I agree Sam probably could drop his goal weight down to Bryce's target.
I think it will be a tight battle between Kirsten and Sam in the final!
But totally agree with you. It will come down to who can go under their goal weight. It will be a very intersting final! Have they set the date for the final yet?

Yeah, maybe, that was entirely Bob's own choice and maybe, it wasn't. Perhaps for that season the people who pay their wages decided it would be cool to have a ladies vs men competition. Who's to say that if Jillian did win that the outcome would have been any different.....

I'm the first to say "it isn't fair" and am very senstive to gender issues.
But, yeah, I have to totatally agree with Mythor on this one. If there had been a bit more tactical play and team coordination, the ladies could have easily eliminated all the men. All that was required was constant targetting of a single player until they dropped. But Cosi seemed to be the only contestant with his thinking cap on and did a great job manipulating/convincing those around him to target a certain player.

Maybe.
Whinging does not equal giving up. Neighther does complaining. As is shown by Cosi, as he is the biggest offender of both when things don't go his way.
Could be just the way the editors have cut the footage on both people's accounts, though.
I think Sheridan has a lot to prove and had done hard work on the outside to acheive such results.
Do I think they will win the challenge? I doubt it but not from Sheridan's lacking.

RE: Nicola vs Sheridan
Yeah, I can't see why you'd think that.
Sheridan started heavier, had 4 less weeks in the house and is currently a very similar weight (200g difference).
Nicola has a loss currently of 25%
Sheridan has a loss currently of 29.5%
Maybe Nicola would be a better choice 'cause she'd be less of a "threat" to other contestants but that's about it. It certainly wouldn't be in the trainer's interests.

Why would you pick Sheridan over Bryce? You were told to.
The trainers were probably told to pick one guy and one girl, if possible.
I think Sheridan is probably the stongest out of the eliminated ladies. She certainly has done well on the outside considering how early in the game she went.

Cheers for that. I had guessed as much.
I hate this cliffhanger thing they have done with the Friday night challenge. May as well not watch it and get the highlights and result on Sunday.
Or just read the recap. :-P

I thought, from seasons past, that if you gained weight, you lost your immunity and were automatically up for elimination? What happened to that?

Anyone else thinking pairs are coming up this week?
Right number of contestants. 8 left = 4 pairs which means there is enough for 2 pairs under the old yellow line.

If it were me, I'd take the $50K and leave. But I wonder if there is some twist/turn/catch that we haven't been told about.
Will Michelle take it? I don't think so.
I doubt anyone will reaplace her if she does leave. Or JJ if he actually does a runner.

Sheridan was looking great!
Can you even call the Reds a team? Nicole must feel like she has been totally played.

I don't think Cosi is nasty, per say. I just think he is wanker.

What happened to "The Walk"? Not that I am complaining about its absence. But, if you were playing for immunity in Temptation with the pretence that you'd get some control over "The Walk", you'd be pissed.
I am so over Cosi. He is just a jackass.

in Season 3, Episode 15: Sound off, 1, 2. Sound off, 3, 4… on The Biggest Loser Recap
I'm not sure what is the go with this Black Team. 4 people, the 2 original trainers, no "game" crap, isolation, strict diet control. I'd would have thought that the weight should be melting off them. They have been given the second chance which usually fires people up but their moral is pretty low. Bob was looking kinda disappointed at the results.

Agreed on Michelle, Amy. From what we see, it looks like she is trying to do the whole Jillian type thing but failing poorly and just coming across negatively.

Most of the challenges I have seen, both teams tended to struggle regardless of the composition of the team! ;-P
Well, Sheridan is a big personality and feisty which can be a big advantage.
Rachel, he didn't have a lot of choice. It was her or the obviously injured dude.

Eh, the voting is part of the game. She knows that. You have to be there at the end to win. I think it would be an awesome coup if the final 3 are all chicks. You still have to pull out the weight loss to get there.
I don't see why they are a good chance to lose the challenge. I don’t see the fact that they kicked out one poor performing, non team player bloke as an indication that they will lose the challenge. The main perpetrator of the discontent in the ranks has gone. Maybe now they can get together and act like a team.

Michelle! WTF. What a hypocrite! She is all girl power and saying that a girl can win this. Then, when the girls vote out the sexist pig who was antagonising them, she blows up saying how they need the boys to win the challenges and pull big numbers. Way to go, Michelle! *rolls eyes*
