hallo eric
erstmal danke fuer deinen post ueber amazee... wir freuen uns natuerlich ueber dich und dein projekt bei amazee.

kleine info aus der techie ecke: du bist letzte woche tatsaechlich genau dann auf der site gewesen, als wir ein (eigens verschuldetes) performance problem mit horrenden antwortzeiten hatten.

die sache ist nun seit freitag frueh wieder aus der welt, wir haben ein paar weitere kleine anpassungen gemacht und alles ist jetzt noch schneller als zuvor.

hoffe der lag letzte woche hat dir die experience nicht komplett verdorben.

kannst du mir sagen was fuer eine URl du als adserver-aufruf ausgemacht hast?
wir haben naemlich im moment keine ads auf amazee...

thanks a lot for your thoughts!

I think in 5 years from now we will have free WiFi everywhere, devices like mobile phones will no longer be but will be some smart mini device like camera, phone, GPS and PDA/smartphone in one.

Computers/laptops will still be there, Apple and Linux will be 50% of the market, the other 50% will be mostly Windows. And Google will be the biggest and most influential media company.

I just experienced the same with my Firefox plugin. 'Cannot post comment'
Thought when clicking the X in the CoComment bar it is disabled for this post only.

Also realized Google Analytics not working. I'll give them till tomorrow to fix it. Otherwise i will be gone.

So how will your mobile phone landscape will look with the announced iPhone-Qik application? Will you get rid of the Nokias?

don't know about the actual number of participants, but OSCON 2008 had excellent WiFi throughout the whole venue (portland convention center).
