in Blog Banter: I Love Limited Edition Stuff! on johpanonline
I've never got into the Special Edition craze - could never really justify the extra cost.
That's one reason why I'd welcome buying a game by download as I wouldn't miss having another box/case cluttering up my room.

in All the gear, no idea (but it’s probably just as well) on The Evolving Newsroom
Dancing? That would've been fun.
But having read the vicissitudes of Balinese climate and infrastructure, I think I can forgive the lack of audio and video.
I find it myself when I go to conferences, or out of town. I suddenly realise what an encumbrance all the gear can be. Then suffer major regrets back in normal-ville. Ah well :) All about building habits, I suppose.

in New 08/09 Liverpool Away Shirt Revealed on EPL Talk
Love this kit. Is almost identical to the 'Candy' emblazoned shirt we wore at the end of the 80s and have happy memories of Barnes, Beardsley, Nicol, McMahon etc doing their thing on the way to number 18.

in Chelsea v Manchester United: Video Evidence of Penalty Decision on EPL Talk
i'm a united fan through n through, it was a penalty carrickjumped, raised his arm then took it away, the linesman had to have balls to give it so fair play to him, whiley on the other hand missed ballack wrestling ronaldo during the corner , not even looking at the ball, and carrick was shoved in the back as the ball came accross to ronaldo when cole cleared it off the line. united didn't deserve to win but i think a draw after the onslaught they survived in the first half hour.

in New Video! Basic Gameplay tag-test on The NimbleBit Blog
Looks like a lot of fun! I first saw your creation on the ogre site, and have since been enchanted by the art style, and how wel it seems to be put together technically.
I think it's great that you post on both these aspects, please keep it up.
Do you have any idea at what level the game will be priced once finished?
@chris: by chance someone else asked the same question at the thread on the ogre forums, http://www.ogre3d.org/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=37... answered:
"everything is modeled in Maya."

Absolutely brilliant! That might be an answer to perceived lack of interest in current affairs and governance, etc.
Reminds me of a game developed by a combined Israeli-Palestinian team to educate people about the peace process.

in I Can haz Value? on Cambiare Productions
Great post Travis, and synchronous, I had this very discussion with a young guy at work today. I have referred to myself as a member of the church of theatre many times, but the veracity of that statement really popped out at me reading this.
And our creed encourages the exploration of free will at that, and not only examines belief, but can challenge it.
Good value for your money, I'd say.
