A couple of weeks ago I was going through all my old blank tapes listening to what I had recorded from the radio...aahh, the good 'ol days of recording from the radio...anyway, the songs were almost all from the 90's and most of them I had long forgotten. And I realized a lot of groups came out at the same time that all sounded the same and had semi-similar names: Everlast, Everclear, Tonic, SemiSonic, Eve 6, Lit, ect. Great trip down memory lane!

nandangos last blog post..Weekend Update

Re: Awesome Cover of the Day - All I Want (Toad the Wet Sprocket)

Yeah I do have that CD and I love it! Well most of the songs anyway, some just plain suck. Midtown's cover of I don't Want To Lose Your Love Tonight is my favorite on the CD. I just really like that song no matter who covers it. The original is great, this cover is great, and Wyclef did an awsome reggae version. The CD even made Paula Abdul's song Straight Up sound good.

nandangos last blog post..My Heaven

Re: Here’s a job I respect

It's always a little unnerving when our window washer people come. One b/c I never hear them and the next thing I know they're right there in my window and two b/c I'm concerned they're going to fall. Looking at this pic I almost thought it was taken in my own work station. There's some company out there that has the market cornered on tacky office cubicles.

nandangos last blog post..My Heaven

Re: Nothing new to see

This is me every single day for about 6 of my 8 hours. As cheesy as it sounds, the best concert I went to was Richard Marx last year. Granted he's kind of a has been so the tickets were cheap and the seats incredibly good but the show was awesome. He played some new stuff but mostly his old stuff, engaged the crowd, didn't have tons of thrills and lights or whatnot (actually none of that), and hardly took a break between each song. I love it!

nandangos last blog post..My Heaven

Re: Jim Carey reminds us about how cheap gas used to be

I remember when I got my license it was 88 cents. I thought the way it was told was different than I had seen before and you had to pay attention through out the whole thing. Great Debaters was really good as well but I remember there being some part that lasted kind of long but it's been a while since I saw it so I can't really remember. I thought Definitely Maybe was so so. I was glad I only paid a $1 to see it.

nandangos last blog post..My Unconventional 4th

Re: I’m THAT guy

I'm a deleter. If you didn't watch it you should. That show is freak'n hilarious. And I do #5 all the time. As long as my work gets done my boss honestly doesn't care when I leave. I usually work from 7-3 but find myself leaving an hour or two earlier. And since I'm losing my job in a couple of months I have to use up my sick hours (which I've never used in the three hours I've worked here). So Tuesday I was out of here by 10:30 *sigh*.

If I need something other than water I drink some kind of juice and if that isn't sweet enough I'll go for lemonade.

Re: Marshmallows and the importance of patience

Got a good chuckle out of the video - kids crack me up sometimes.
