Do not buy this crap product, RC, I had two. They both broke after maybe five uses. There are cheap plastic gears that strip out very easily. The company did not give me replacements.

OK I do not get it. Algae grew faster than they can collect it? Simple, cycle half out to filter and add new stock to the rest. What is the problem. OK they had adequate supply, where's the oil?

I bought a 35 led light bulb that does a 120 degree angle and at 2-3 watts for only $10 on ebay. Works well - I put 5 of them in my chandler. So instead of using 120 watts, I use just 10-15 watts - just awesome. I now have one room totally lit by leds alone! LEDs are not just for christmas lights anymore.

Excuse me but my desktop computer only uses 30 watts, it is called a Powermate Eco. It is the only way to go and runs only Linux, Thank You, and no M$ tax on this computer.

PS Tell Nec to start up a new production of this computer. The fools stop making them.

They (researchers and military) already made a similar light with microwaves. It had a completely sealed sphere of glass inside of it was a small amount of sulfur power. Hit it with microwaves and boom, brilliant efficient light. They stop making it because could not contain the microwaves.

I just read an article that the US farm industry is actually going to grow less corn this year than last year. Why? Farmers are not talking to one another, apparently. Someone should do a follow up on this report.

Smart Meters are not so smart. Try plugging a solar panel or wind turbine in your system and that meter will take what ever power you make and put it on the grid, and make it look like your are consuming electric and not producing it. Thus charging you for what you produced. It is pretty stupid that way, the 'old' meter simply spun backwards, giving you credit. Keep It Simple, Stupid.

With the 'smart meter', the utilities will require you to have two meters on your home, one for incoming and one for out going, in which they will charge you for reading two meters. Not so Smart, ay. Twice the cost every month.

Sorry, every one of these products are way way overpriced. Solar panels should be saling at $5 or less a watt, you do the math. Especially, the thin film panels should cost $3 or least and their are sell at $20 a watt, a total ripeooff.

Come on, lets cut the crap, 'lead off fossil fuels' sounds like you mean stop using the fuels. Hate to bring this to your attention but, fossil fuels are here to stay, alternative energy, and I am a huge supporter, will only help us reduce or slow down the current use of it. AE will only replace fossil fuels when fossil fuels cease to exist. Because it is there we will continue to use it, just hopely more responsiblely, that is a joke of course.
