@David Just happen to meet KC today. She has been with Oracle longer than 11 years I guess, and she cleared the mystery behind AR/RA. Actually, RA meant 'Revenue Accounting', a functionality that later folded into AR itself. I didn't check if RA came in from an acquired company or not. Maybe next time when she comes around...

I always used to wonder about the origins of HZ. Now I know.

Talking of product codes, one other product in Procurement family has a similar history, from what I have heard. "CHV" is the product code for Supplier Scheduling. Apparently, CHV are the initials of one Vance Checketts (sp?) who was working in Procurement at that time.

I loved reading the "8 things..." of various bloggers whom I follow. Yes, it definitely humanizes the blogging community, which is a good thing. A little bit of personal touch is so refreshing in this increasing virtual world that we now live in. Keep up the good work and try to ignore the few who are not game to it. Let them shut their servers down ;)
