Go for it. Consider using strict xhtml with semantic id's so the entire site exists as a very rough XML of the data - that way other people can build on your work.

I can't say much for the language it sounds like me half asleep and with a massive headache (*grins*). It is true that you will get a better conversion rate if you allow people to know the prices. I would say that your best bet would be an on site "squeeze page" that says what you get etc - and then passes you tot he sign up. That might work more effectively.

Also I've seen a lot of bloggers that give a breakdown of demographics of readers. I understand this works really well.

This is very true - people have grown immune to hype and on the whole are only irritated by adverts. The business stone age is gone and we must leave it or be left behind.

Generally a mother ship is the ship that tends the others in the fleet "as mother". Surely you SciFi geeks should know that it's the big one. Generally in shipping we talk of "the flag ship" anyway. That being the best ship in the fleet with the highest ranking officer on board. As these terms also do not count when there is one ship I fail to see how any such terms apply. But if a fishing boat was "mother" that makes all the others pathetically small.

Ouch. It sometimes happens that you pick something up and then later when being creative "come up with" that something. cold comfort to both parties though. sucks to be in that fight.

On the other hand playing both together does sound cool aside from where the notes are discordant with each other.

If this had taken place five years ago it would have been newsworthy, ten and it would have been significant but web development is moving so fast this is rather middle of the road these days. That's not to say this is not a good move but just a very conservative one.

I guess as industry news goes it probably is quite interesting actually. I forget that coming from the bleeding edge of geek technology things take a while to filter through to every day use.
