Great pic of the canyon. The colors were amazing. You WILL have your day in rifle, gotta go back when your feeling strong so you can get on the fun 12's and when there is nothing going on but climbing....

That totally sucks rach, i'm sorry about the car. Don't loose all hope yet. I've had two friends (a couple) one of them being the famous wookie get there honda's stolen. They both got them back. It was joy ride stealth job. Both cars were slightly vandalized but they still have them and are driving them. So maybe when you get back from your trip your car will be found.

Don't worry about the drive, not even close to driving to the Red River Gorge. Now thats a drive (won't be doing that again).

There are a few side trip possibilities. There is bouldering right out of Boise, Id. There is boulder and sport climbing just north of Spokane and don't forget Smith Rocks. The later two are a bit off your path, but the Boise stuff is not far.

Chanon Thai is hands down the best Thai in SLC. But expect to wait on a friday night (well worth it) and i believe they are closed on Saturday. Great curry dishes. They are located on 900 S. and 300 E. Oh did i mention spicy.
