Piggybacking on what Sam said, is it a coincidence that southsidetower.net doesn't list a single fast food restaurant among the neighborhood offerings, though they're closer to the building than any of the ones mentioned?

That they do happen to list a sex shop, and a seedy looking one at that, on their listing of neighborhood offerings, but ignore fast food, I think we can chalk it up to coincidence.

As long as we're calling to recall elected officials of whom we are not constituents, perhaps I ought to warm up the recall petitions for Bill Frist. Who's with me?

Totally agree. What Fred wrote regarding McCain was true in 2000 but its not true anymore. He's sold his soul trying to be President. He's flip-flopped all over the place. Was against Bush's tax cuts, now he's for them. Railed against Falwell/Robertson/Dobson, now he sucks up to them. The list goes on. Fred, the McCain you are thinking of, and the one you are scared of in a general election, doesnt exist anymore.

I'm sorry but I'm going to disagree a bit. For one this is only viral if people care. I don't care what anyone thinks about my school spirit and certainly I'm not going to be relying on some Facebook application to tell me if I have it or not. If I don't add some application from some people I dont know that means I don't have school spirit? I imagine this might work on a few people but the majority I'm willing to bet just won't care. Sorry.

If Discovery Channel HD spent so much on their broadcast equipment and is so foward thinking then why do they not allow programing that originated on film? As most documentaries are. A digital-only origination policy is completely absurd and entirely short-sighted. InHD and HDnet allow such material and have shown a lot of it. No artifacts or compression issues there. But Discovery seems to think that excuses and hype will overshadow their technlogyical ineptitude.
