There's been an uptick up on top of Queen Anne in the past couple of months. Two sirens since 5 AM today for example.... although it is not a daily thing. But it is noticeably more frequent.

Ah Conner, so nice to see a true believer in the NYT KoolAid. I don't think you realize for a moment the distinct effluvium d'snob you emit. The Times is dead but it just doesn't know it yet. Wait until the Mexican billionaire that holds its paper works it for a couple of years. "The Paper of Record" my foot. The paper of its own internal record perhaps, but increasingly out of step, out of touch and, soon I hope, out of time.
