You know what? I think those are grape tomatoes -- even smaller than cherry tomatoes. And, thus, even sadder a situation in which to find one's self.

I recognized it immediately as well, as that piece of music was the second half of my senior ballet solo in 1992 ...

I agree. Our Sunday School class, and several others in our church, have done these games in the past. I'm assuming most are continuing the tradition. This year, though, our class has asked that each person bring what they would've spent on that and give it to our Food Share ministry to give them a good start to 2009.

Do I detect an Alton Brown influence here?
(We didn't buy the pressure cooker; we just cook it for 4 or 5 hours instead.)

We are going to try your recipe either tonight or over the weekend, using our homegrown tomatoes. Thanks for sharing it!

We watched those two movies back-to-back, just because they landed on our coffee table the same weekend. We had no idea how close the themes would be. The only thing I'd change about that double feature: I wish we'd watched "Big Fish" first. Because we put it in the DVD player second, and I couldn't stop the tears for about half an hour afterwards. No sobbing or anything; just quiet tears.
Love both of those movies.

So, how was the oatmeal? We've had great results with AB's chili recipe.

I think my favorite Stephen Root role has to be Milton from "Office Space."
trying to be coy in case any of my opponents checked out this blog. :)
I really like the pressure cooker so far. It gave the chili a
long-simmered taste with only 25 minutes cooking time (not counting
warmup and cooldown). I made a roast over the weekend and it turned
out great as well. Next up: artichokes.
