Python 3000 makes it so that all rich comparisons must be explicitly defined -- there's no default implementation.

in Let's Talk About Attitude on human made
I think it goes a little beyond a strict negativity vs. positivity thing; for me, at least.

Any project is going to have its low moments and its high moments, but the important thing for me is that I need to *believe* in the project -- in its ultimate success, in its right to exist. I'm willing to lift cars and jump over trains if I believe in the project.

jaycee That's very true, and is an important attitude thing in its own right. What I was getting at, in my usual rambling fashion, was the importance of your attitude in relation to other people. But all of that is clearly influenced by the level you believe in what you're working on--I can barely get a window open when I'm hacking a legacy access application we should just be replacing, but I can zoom through code on something I actually want to get done.

We watched this at Threespot the other day, and while looking super cool, it raised all sorts of alarm bells for me. For one, the plethora of iconography reminded me of the worst parts of the OS X dock. And then you multiply it by four and make it tiny.

I did like the return of the NeXT shelf though.

I think I have a reflexive hatred of concept videos -- and rendered game trailers, and concept cars --- because it's almost always never going to come to fruition in a form resembling the concept in any meaningful way.

jaycee I did find the nebulous cloud of icons disturbing. I can't help but liken it to trying to find a particular brightly colored piece of paper on a desk overflowing with brightly colored papers--near impossible, even with some organization.

Nice!

Is there a way to post comments _to_ a friendfeed item rather than just pulling comments from it?

AAC is not Apple's own. Many players other than the iPod are able to play AAC content.
