Maybe he just doesn't have time or want to make time to moderate comments and the ensuing conversations. This would seem to be the case, since he also doesn't participate on Twitter.

in Spread Your Wings- Get More Retweet Action Today on Chris Brogan
I'm getting worn out on the "RT" term. It's starting to become cliche. When I RT, I've started doing "via @chrisbrogan:" or "@chrisbrogan is looking for..." It may be just that I've been around so long that I'm tired and want something different, more creative, than a simple "RT @chrisbrogan:".

Daniel, you bring up a great point actually. Depending on the content of the tweet, sometimes you don't want the RT @PhilipNowak to get in the way of the quote, article title, joke, etc... (Via @PhilipNowak) at the end of a tweet is a perfectly acceptable variation and I use it quite often.
Be careful with the @ChrisBrogan is looking for because Twitter considers that to be an @reply to Chris Brogan, thus only the users that are following the two of you will see the tweet. A better option is to say: Everyone! @ChrisBrogan is looking for...

Chris,
This is how I became the leader for what is New Media Cincinnati. No one else stepped up, so I finally did. It's been a great experience.

I saw a similar ad on the Sunday edition of the Cincinnati Enquirer yesterday. Wasn't planning on buying the paper, especially after seeing the ad stuck to it like this.

in Micro? on Christopher S. Penn's Awaken Your Superhero
Chris, it's the same thing with superlatives and other adjectives used to describe the greatness of something. To wit: cool, neat, awesome, phenomenal, incredible, unique. The more these words are used to describe things, the less we tend to see what the words were really intended to mean.
I understand why we use these words: to draw attention to something that we may not otherwise have paid attention to. But over time, just like the words micro, new, and social in your post, these words are losing their meaning and are becoming trite.
Just some thoughts. Awesome thoughts, in my own opinion. ;)

I've been using Google Chrome a lot since it was released, but the lack of extensions has kept me from switching over completely. I am looking forward to following this story.

Hi Tom,
Saw that you found a picture from a New Media Cincinnati meetup we had last year. A good point to add to your discussion is that meeting up with others face-to-face is very helpful in enhancing the connections we make online.
Happy New Year!

Daniel, thanks for the additional information about the photo and the meet
up. My photo source, Zamantha, indicated that the photo was available to
use, but did not explain its background. You make a valuable additional
point about the "meet ups" that new media facilitate. I'm beginning to see
more and more "tweet ups" among Twitter users who attend conferences.

It would seem that this is a great time for a blues song. The blues make you feel good even though you're feelin' bad.

I don't know that I ever completely left (I've been recording and producing audio interviews on several sites, including SocialMediaBreakfast.com and LiveWorld.com/Bryan; those sites have RSS feeds, hence technically making me a podacster). But ... I haven't really had a podcast show as such. The Daily Boo gets me back in the game :)
