these are classic.
I've also noticed "The Groupie"
they join countless groups, most of which are completely pointless. They constantly create new groups and invite all their friends to join.

in Your ad-supported Web 2.0 site is actually a B2B enterprise in disguise on Futuristic Play by @Andrew_Chen100% agree Andrew... why kid ourselves... (free) consumer internet companies at some point have to move beyond pageviews and traffic and start behaving like media/marketing companies. I think that means at the end of the day we need to be looking for ways to create interesting (and high value) brand advertising that goes way beyond display ads as we think of them today.

Network pages have lost their value big time. None of the people I know spend much time on the network pages.

Seems like a solid win for Mixx. But it looks like Digg is too broadly accepted to be fully replaced even if LAT has $ on the line... the Digg button is still plenty easy to find.

Yea, now that Digg finally has its image section there isn't a whole lot different between the sites. Mixx is nice and I prefer the interface myself, but winning users is a whole different story.
