Those look good; I'll add them to my ever-growing list of books I should be reading instead of my beloved ghost stories and haunting books lol.

BUT, I'm actually being responsible and reading a good business book right now that one of out client's asked us to all read called The Ultimate Question: Driving Good Profits and True Growth. I'm not too far into it right now but so far it's a good read. Basically for me it's a reiteration of why customer support and treating your customers well helps growth better in the long run than jacking up stupid fees or anything like that does.

TweetDeck is totally awesome, especially now that they released some pretty nifty upgrades just yesterday or today. Now it's checking spelling and adding people to groups is much easier.

They've got some great things in store over there and I'm excited to see what's coming down the pipeline.

I'm bummed that I'm not going to be able to make your panel since there's another one that's a touch more relevant to my position as an affiliate manager that I should attend. I hope to see you there wandering around though!

A lot of the complaints that real journalists have about blogs is that they don't adhere to the same ethics and standards as real journalistic endeavors do, or real reporters.

This is just another one of those things that proves them right :/ It makes bloggers in general look bad in my opinion.

How much was that software and how well does it work?

I love getting together with some of my old coworkers - we all worked at this horrible job and kind of had to bond together in order to stay sane. Also, it's always good to keep in contact because you never know who could help you out in your career down the road!

Definitely an interesting conundrum. I'd like to say that it can scale as a team - but that does lessen the community effect.

I agree, the whole idea is lame when you have someone else posting for her. Either be yourself or have it be a feed from her blog or some such bull.

I personally promote any content that's good, and I don't censor it just because the blogger behind it is well known or not. That's my policy.

While I'm not working for myself I have found that in working from home now when I came back from Texas with a cold it was really difficult to even drag myself out of bed. And when I did, it was hard to work here with the knowledge I was SO CLOSE to going to lay down lol.

I resolved myself to working half days.

I know the feeling - I started my blog in Aug 07 as well and I'm experiencing the same kind of brand awareness and that "hey you're Trisha Lyn" stuff and starting taking on speaking stuff.

I couldn't agree more with what you've said...I guess in that kind of respect we should be adversaries, unless of course we bond together and plot to take over ;)

In terms of the double post predicament, you should just post a summary with links to the coverage on the Affiliate Summit site. That's just my two cents of course :D

Did you check out Zemanta in the expo? They have a pretty interesting blog service (not really a widget, it's a Firefox add on) that makes adding content pretty easy. I'm considering trying it out on a secondary blog of mine.
