in Taqueria La Veracruzana: Mexican Sandwich In The Italian Market on Unbreaded
They do the white american in their burritos too. It's a little weird, but the grilled steak more than makes up for it.

in El Camino Real: Close But No Cigar on Unbreaded
I think El Camino is just fine. I'm not partial to the bread they use for their sandwiches, but it's very traditional to serve BBQ on texas toast. I can't rave about the brisket, or any of the food, besides the onion rings with smoked ketchup. As far as Sweet Lucy's is concerned, their food is banging! Monday's used to be (and perhaps still are) all you can eat night for under $20. If you're less of a glutton, than all their perfectly smoked meats are available in platter and sandwich form, you just have to be willing to get up 95 a bit before you can chow down.

Wow, it took you a long time to eat that apple! Great vlog, Jess. I especially like my exclamation about GORP, and Jillian likes the apple scene and the GORP scene equally.

Manhattan chowder is not really chowder. It's the slutty cousin to true New England version.

in A Taste of New Orleans in Philadelphia: Grace Tavern Po’ Boy on Unbreaded
That looks like a superb po'boy. I lived in the south for a short while, and the catfish po'boys are something I still kinda dream about.

I've been enjoying your blog for months now. I live and work in Philly, but make it back to Omaha twice a year for family things. Your blog is exactly what is needed to help us find great places to eat!
Keep up the fight.
On a different note, it is truly ridiculous that Chops Steakhouse is suing LaBan for his opinion. Isn't it intrinsic in the title "Food Critic" to be critical?

I'm so happy to have found your blog! Whenever I'm in Omaha it's a struggle to find a good/non-chain place to eat aside from Katie's down on Dodge. Now I can use your archives as a review reference. Keep up the great reviews!
