Getting a life...it's a good thing indeed.

I'm normally a shy individual so I really do benefit from communications like Twitter and Friendfeed (no telephone required!) but I have been able to turn it off when I crave quiet time with my family.

I suppose it's the 'all things in moderation' thingee.....

I try to go by the mantra, always make certain that what I publish is something I wouldn't mind my kids or my mom to find online...10 years from now.

Another reason - you know you're addicted to Twitter when you build your own Twelcome page for your Twitter URL AND spend time explaining the marketing behind it to your grammar school child. :)

I can't wait to see the movie! I remember seeing Raiders of the Lost Ark back in the 1980s (first time I drove by myself to a far-away theater)... what an incredible accomplishment (the movie, not my driving. :) ).

It will be fun sharing it with my kids....

Ads on my cellphone? Heck, I've never even sent a text message to another person's phone in my life. I think I would be quite unhappy to start receiving messages from advertisers from the get-go.

I never really thought of a nickname before. I've always had my cartoon alter-ego, Owlbert, plus my family does have choice phrases for me ("all powerful mother unit" comes to mind, as does "mean mommy ling" and "mama bear"). Somehow, though, I can't see that as a tagline.... :)
