Great article - I think its very important for people to talk to their doctor about thyroid issues, especially if weight gain or loss is a concern and they have the other symptoms you list above. My mother went years undiagnosed with an underactive thyroid - when they finally got her on medication and got it at the right dosage she was like a new person! (and lost weight from it as well!)

I wouldn't be anywhere without wordpress! I learned about WuFoo recently and very well might start using that one as well! And as much as I hate to admit it, Google has slowly been taking over a lot of things I do online!

It seems everything and everybody is on Twitter. I like Tim's shirts a lot, the twitter one is pretty funny, I'll have to check it out and see what he has that's new over there!

That's pretty neat. I've got a lot to learn about using Twitter! I do like the idea of making wishlists though, sometimes others will help make the wishes come true if they're simple enough!

Wow, that's pretty bad! The worst hotel I stayed in was a Quality Inn. The bathroom had something really gross all over the walls and the maid staff thought I was nuts because I wanted it cleaned! These days I'm much more assertive - if my room is awful, I'm at the front desk immediately getting a new one and a discount.

Microtel's are really nice - they're clean, the heat/ac works, and the blankets were SOFT, not that typical scratchy hotel blanket most have. Free breakfast of muffins and really good coffee too! Nicer than any hotel I've been in!

Hmmm...I might be taking advantage of this to take place of my keyword luv plugin...

There's so much here I don't think you really need to add or change a thing...thought having more control on what is nofollow/dofollow - such as setting max characters in a name or making it so it only follows one comment per ip per day type of thing...I have no idea if that is even possible, just a thought since being a dofollow blog opens you up for a lot of spam!

Did nobody really participate in the contest? I can;t see any comments? I was hoping for some sad song suggestions...(not that i am planning a funeral, lol, just looking for some good depressing rainy day songs)

for my funeral i'd want something happy and tacky that made people feel better, not be depressed...but nothing in particular picked out! Hopefully I'll have a real long time to think of something!

Work sucks looks like that would be a good read :) When I had an office job I absolutely dreaded the meetings - always seemed like they were the biggest waste of time (and they were!)

It can really go either way - I'm sure you've met a few pro-choice people who are also active members of PETA...While I see your point, it really bugs me that people think its okay to destroy an innocent baby with a heartbeat but eating an egg (with no heart beat, brain, or other signs of visible "life") is murder.

There's a lot of hypocrisy out there on millions of subjects. Last night I watched "downsize this" where Michael Moore's going out & talking to corporations - yet he still uses their products, rides in a gm car, etc. etc.

It's hard to be "perfect" in this screwed up world we live in :)

I don't really have a favorite. I stopped using IE for just about everything though as it seems like it just doesn't work well with Vista - constantly getting error messages and the sort. The rest of the time I switch between firefox and opera depending on what I'm doing. It seems like firefox is compatible with the most, opera a little more user friendly, but doesn't always work...

I really like the gift card idea for raftertales - i went and subscribed :) Maybe you just need to tell more people about it?

It's hard to say what will motivate people - I think it really just depends on the subject of the blog & the quality of the offer. If you write an ebook that people want, then you're in good shape - but sometimes (most times) an ebook is not enough to get me going.

Those are some really good tips. A lot of agents forget to look at the closed AND active DOM's & of course as you said the seasons can have a big impact too. The longer a house sits people do start to wonder "what's wrong with that house?" - at the same time you don't want to sell yourself short if the average dom is high in a particular area.

I need to take a look at that program. I know I could be a lot more productive online than I am currently :)

I have always been leery of using flickr just for that reason - anyone will take your photos without a second thought - selling them is the worst thing i've ever heard of! How did they think they could do that?
