<rss version="2.0"><channel><title>Disqus - Latest Comments for kate walker</title><link>http://disqus.com/people/2d10a10de2d42ce7c6eb6869de8264d2/</link><description></description><language>en</language><lastBuildDate>Fri, 26 Dec 2008 19:15:33 -0000</lastBuildDate><item><title>Re: Iraqi art exhibition in New York City - Opens Thursday!</title><link>http://jedchristiansen.disqus.com/iraqi_art_exhibition_in_new_york_city_opens_thursday/#comment-4659444</link><description>it was mentioned in the british papaers recently that an exhibition in london had wanted to include work from iraqi artists but was told that the museum in iraqi was locked ( was there anything left in it?)&lt;br&gt;I am a 4th year art student at duncan of jordanstone in scotland and I feel that the story of iraq and afghanistan needs to be told from the point of view of the iraqi and afghan people.I think its fantastic that this exhibition has taken place - perhaps something similar can happen again and include work from afghanistan and other places of conflict from around the world.&lt;br&gt;There could even be a television programme that traces the whole story from sourcing the art right through to holding the exhibition.
