If I was launching a major initiative I'd like to 'own' the news from an ego and ownership standpoint. If I tell the bloggers, even under embargo, I can't own/control the message.
I'm interested in your take and other's comments.

Re: Web 2010 Discover Ten Strategies Defining Your Business Future with Jay Berkowitz

Erin:

Thanks for posting the link. This presentation was a lot of fun to create and share, over 1,000 people have viewed it on Slideshare. Thanks for agreeing to be featured as proof for successful virtualization!

Jay

Re: Twitters Business Impact

Great List James, OK if I use it and quote you in presentations :)

Here are a couple more ideas (I love lists of 10 LOL):

8. Product reviews. Ask your Tweeps what they think of the new computer you're looking at.

9. Selling - @DellOutlet has sold over $1,000,000 with over 340,000 followers, @Woot has killer deals every day, @amazondeals has some neatstuff and http://www.Twitter.com/TenGoldenDeals just entered the game

10. Build Content. I use Twitter to ask for ideas for presentations and my podcast ( http://podcast.tengoldenrules.com ). I have asked questions including 'What are the ten hottest trends in internet marketing?' and 'What are tips for using the internet to find a job in the recession?'

Re: Ten Podcasts I Can’t Live Without

Some of my favorite podcasts include:

TED Talks
That Affiliate Thing (Geekcast.FM)
For Immediate Release
Internet Business Mastery
Morning Coach
Six Pixels of Separation
Jaffe Juice (Podfade to Video Joe?)
Marketing Over Coffee
Grapeline
Electronic Groove
Sales Roundup
Daily Source Code
GSPN's Weekly Lost Podcast
The Official Lost Podcast
Podcast Answer Man

Oh yeah, I kinda like the 10 Golden Rules of Internet Marketing Podcast too http://podcast.tengoldenrules.com , but I'm biased :)

Jay Berkowitz

Re: Ten Golden Rules, Job Search Tips and Networking Dinner With Me

Thanks for the great podcast review Michael, I look forward to seeing you in Las Vegas.
A few of my other favorite shows include:
- Call with Craig Newmark founder of Craig's List http://podcast.tengoldenrules.com/10goldenrules...
- Dicussion with James Martell Author of the Affiliate Marketer's Handbook http://podcast.tengoldenrules.com/10goldenrules...
- Live chat with Google Search Engine guru Matt Cutts: http://podcast.tengoldenrules.com/10goldenrules...

Re: http://mashable.com/2009/03/19/conference-savings/

Great post Stuart:

A few other valuable resources:
1. Sarah was a great interview! Don't miss some other pioneers of the web including Craig Newmark founder of Craig's List, Tim Westergren founder of Pandora.com, Steve Krug Author of the best web design book 'Don't Make Me Think' and Jason Calacanis founder of Mahalo.com.

I love your comments about what Edison would be doing today. I agree completely that he would be looking at electric cars and green technology and the semantic web, many of us believe that is the next big thing for the internet.

Re: Presentation Secrets for Social Communicators

This is great Chris!

Ho do you write the funny material.
