Please, Gonso Gang, IU must get it right this time. We don't get any more do-overs. No more "oops, our bad." You goof this up, and you bury IU basketball for a generation.
Get the right guy. Ideally, it will be someone who really wants to be our coach, not someone who has to be talked into it.
Hiring this coach is the difference between the first shot of a game, and the last shot with time running out and the team down 1. Davis and Sampson were the horrible shots that clanked off the rim. Now you've got to nail it.

JH, I like most of your posts, but your insight is diminished when you use the Fs. Not calling you out, not lecturing, and this isn't my site to manage. It's just my opinion.

Sadly, I agree. I almost hope we lose the first game, because NC might beat us by 40 if the team continues to play the way it has.

I don't know? I would honestly love to see them get by Arkansas because I would be curious to see how pumped up DJ could get for playing against Tyler Hansbrough!!! DJ is the only player on this team who gives a crap anyway and I am curious to see if he could outplay TH even if we get beat by 40???

Start Brandon McGee. Play him the whole game, no breaks. Let's see what he can do when he just plays without looking over his shoulder to the bench. Maybe he shoots 1 for 18. Maybe he shoots 10 for 18. Let's find out.

I agree McGee's freshman year has been wasted so far. At the least get something out of it.
In my opinion, I think schools like UNC and Duke are overrated. I mean if one school gets the east McDonald's all american team and the other gets the west....every year.....and doesn't consistantly win national titles.....I would say they are overrated teams.
But please Tommy Boy.....lets hear your definition.
