that's true, but completely misses the mark if you're trying to comment on this particular point. The point isn't that celebs shouldn't be criticized, but the manner of the criticism, which basically lumps them into the screaming liberal priviledged bunch, but so readily embraces, lauds, whatnot a right-winger from the same den of libral sin. It's a comment on potential hypocracy, or more lightly, a humorous irony.

alright, it's all set there, I have a coupla custom functions I needed to set in the code...they actually have a function that does about the same thing, but it doesn't seem any better than mine and doesn't do the same thing anyway, so I'll stick with this one for now.

btw, as I may be called upon to 'determine a winner', please suggest any ways that you think may be interesting to measure blog consistency. In my opinion, if we get more words out of these two, we're all winners. But, more importantly, how do we tell who won? Most days with a post, plus 1/2-points for extras?

yeah, well, just to ive an idea of how we got going in that direction, one of the reasons I've heard for using overhead projectors is that they're 'more like television'. Mind you, I'm fully aware that they are good for reusing transparencies as well, but it was an interesting point.

that's funny...I'd made some boastful claims not long ago and my brother brought me a blind test with about six macros....kokanee, pbr, coors light, miller somethin-somethin. Got them all wrong as well. I chalk it up to the several Bridgeport IPAs I'd had before that, but it's been haunting me ever since. I'll try again with a clear palate sometime to clear my name, but in the meantime I wear my shame on my sleeve. But who the heck knows what kokanee tastes like anyway?

sure, I don't shop there. I never have. I think I was fairly clear on why I despise WalMart. They do horrible things to a community. It goes much further than your shirt or your kitchen, WalMart strikes at the heart of the community. It destroys local businesses, and creates menial labor jobs in their place. It supplants any local flavor by doing this, instead bringing in truckloads of generic goods. This is true for many of the chain and 'big box' stores, Target, K-Mart, Home Depot. One major difference is their method of competition, which is not just immoral but illegal (selling below retail to drive out competitors has been documented), and their labor practices, which are oppresive and prejudiced. The reason for the mention of the DOS approach is that in order to slow the juggernaut opponents need to actively oppose the machine.
