Instead of writing a personal review of the trip to each of them, write one trip review here on the blog. Then respond to everyone who asked "How was Israel?" that "It was great, thanks for asking. You can read more about it in the blog entry I just posted..." That way you give your network the information they're asking for; in a way that's convenient for you and is beneficial to the entire network.

Re: Jack takes down a harpoon

The first key to teaching the boy to drink is to teach him the difference between a Blue Moon and a Harpoon. ;-)

Both good beers, of course....

Re: 2009/01/13/personal-iphone-app/

Why would I want to have an individual iPhone app for each
of my friends that I'd have to launch just to get a the
MOTD from the person?

The whole point of things like FriendFeed, Facebook, etc...
is that they can effectively aggregate this type of
information so that I don't have to have a manually keep
track of a bunch of different messages coming at me through
too many channels.

Re: Geocities to Shutdown; What Was Geocities, You Ask?

I remember my first GeoCities page too, it lived in TheTropics. Geocities has probably long outlived its usefulness, but it's still sad to see one of the web's true originals calling it a career.
