in Donc oui, c’était un poisson d’avril :) - By Pierre Lecourt - - Blogeee.net on Blogeee.net

in Manga Theme (with fixed notification window) : All PS3 Themes on All PS3 Themes
I take zero creative credit for the theme as it was created by Sony. I loved the theme until I saw the ugly white notification window. I just edited the xml and took out the xml tag for the
notification window. Lastly, I used the official command prompt theme creator (PS3 Custom Theme) to generate the .p3t file because the PS3
Theme Creator would not allow me to generate a .p3t file without a tag for the notification window.

in noodad » To Wii or Not to Wii: Babyproof your Marriage with a Video Game System? on Noodad
The guy is excited to get permission from his wife to buy a Wii.
Sure, it shouldn\'t replace real activity but anyone that has played it knows it kicks ass. And he was talking about playing with his wife, not his kids. Cut the guy some slack and let him play with the wii.
Sheesh, you guys take things way too seriously.

5 years is way too long. When the kid can ask for it themselves, it is time to hang up the ol\' milk bags and rely on solid foods.
I have also heard of women who keep breastfeeding to keep their breasts huge. I would be all for that if they werent so damn sensitive!

My wife one time put my boy in a dutchboy outfit. I wasn\'t sure if I should laugh or cry. And that thing was blue. But you are right noodad, if you don\'t offer solutions, you have to just grin and bear it.

It was actually a little warmer this year in Syracuse, but warmer still means tons of snow. Sometimes I\'m afraid my kid\'s nose will freeze and break off. I need something like this.

Ah
leave it up to Noodad to bring up another controversial topic. What works for one family might not work for another. I spank my kids when they are misbehaving.
We have friends that use time outs and the naughty corner and their kids are the biggest brats out of all of our friend\'s kids.

Last year my 12 year old wanted an XBox. I ended up paying 750 bucks for it off some guy on craigslist. I dont regret it one bit. Seeing the joy it brought him christmas morning was worth every penny.
its not always about the price. sometimes its just about the look on their faces.

Apart from cultural or religious reasons, there are atleast some medical reasons that point towards the decision of circumcision. There are no such reasons for ear piercing.
Otherwise you would be able to go to the mall and get yourself circumcised at Snipping Pagoda!

in noodad » Selling Kid Clothes on eBay on Noodad
I sell a lot of my kid\'s clothes on eBay. Most of these tips are right on. I cannot stress enough the importance in the naming of the item.
I like eBay over consignment because I get real-time update on how the item is doing. You may make slightly less at consignment but then again you may be waiting for 2 months before it sells. I\'ll take the bird in hand.

in Desert Window on It's Curious blog
This scene was found completely as is, no photoshopping involved. In 1991 I visited a camp in Joshua Tree that built alternative housing only using raw materials (like dirt) and found objects like tires and bottles. The actual windows on the buildings, many of which resembled large elaborate igloos, were usually open air holes, or makeshift stained-glass windows from bottles. This window frame didn't fit into the round walls of any of the buildings, so someone discarded it and left it on that tree branch. I liked the idea of a window in the middle of the desert. Normally a window helps you see more. In the desert, it was too confining for the vastness of the space. I'll post some pictures of the adobe-like structures themselves tomorrow.
