Oswald was a consistent proponent of communism, and he 'may have' tried to either kill, or just fire a warning shot at a right wing retired army general. While I believe he probably killed a cop, he was not cold blooded (a paradox). He liked JFK, indicating he was a leftist.
Is there proof Oswald was the person who mail-ordered the marchano rifle from Chicago, when he could walk into any gun store in Texas and buy one (using the same alias)? Oswald may not have known the person who did mail-order the rifle under his alias (if it was his alias.) Maybe it was Mohrenschildt who gave Oswald the rifle.
The CIA, before it attempts to hypnotize, will use a person more susceptible to carry out what it wants them to do. You can't hypnotize a leftist to murder a leftist (only a right winger.) You can't hypnotize a pacifist to murder WITHOUT grooming them to want to murder. After you groom and condition a person to murder then you hypnotize them to murder. Oswald was not a good subject to murder JFK - he wasn't violent enough to murder a president. Plus, he just didn't have a good enough motive. Any person can hate, even a pacifist can hate (especially to hate an opposite, a non-pacifist), but not murder. To groom a pacifist to murder you must have enough antagonists to incite the pacifist, long enough or often enough, to want to murder (and then you hypnotize it to execute the murder.) A pacifist would not be the best subject to groom AND hypnotize to murder. A better subject, to murder, would be a more violent and or hateful person.
Oswald was a better patsy than he was a murderer, especially a left wing, or moderate President. He had a wife and a kid (plenty to live for) and needed money. He was a runner for the mob and a low level worker at the Book Depository.
John Wilkes Booth hated Lincoln, Oswald never expressed that much hatred. He was murdered before anyone could completely interrogate him. Most Dallas cops were crooked (and were southern right wingers.) The idea of murdering JFK in Chicago was only a distraction. Dallas was ideal and Kennedy was a fool for riding in an open automobile in Dallas.

LBJ ( a Texan) hated his junior, eastern establishment catholic president. The right wing CIA hated Kennedy for successfully resolving the Cuban Missile crisis (and avoiding nuclear armegedon), and for not helping to overthrow Castro. Irish/catholics were discriminated against or looked down on. The Kennedys were hated because their patriarch wanted to avoid WW II (the main source of hate). Nixon hated him (ties with Bebe Robozo/Cuba). Oilmen disliked him (Bush). The KKK disliked him. Both the U.S. and Cuban mafia hated the Kennedys (RFK prosecuted Hoffa while JFK refused air support for the Bay of Pigs operation). Hooover disliked him for being a left winger. JFK was a fool for exposing himself in Dallas, in the heart of southern rightwing extremism and so near to Cuba amd Cuban exiles, including mafiosos from Florida, Louisiana and Texas.
James Files is the key (until he dies) and Hoffa is dead and missing. Files was trained in South East Asia and had real experience in assasination. I forgot the name of his cohort (Roselli?). He was young, naive, groomable and sociopathic (unlike Oswald.) Files became a career criminal.
Who would you trust to execute President Kennedy ? Oswald or Files (or any other mafia hitman ?)

Assuming Oswald murdered JFK: the bullets 'were' the type that would penetrate one victim and enter another. But, a marchano does need to use round nose or pointed bullets because it is a manual bolt rifle; only automatic or semiautomatic rifles need to use military type pointed bullets to prevent or minimize jamming.
Assuming Oswald didn't murder JFK: where was the remaining 'box' of bullets; only three bullets were found ? Plus, there is too much evidence indicating he didn't murder JFK. There is good evidence he was on the first floor of the Depository while JFK passed the building.
Once Oswald discovered the shooting he then realized he was a patsy because he was the person who placed the rifle on the 6th floor (he was blackmailed by a CIA operative, George D. Mohrenschildt, to place the rifle there). Mohrenschildt knew Oswald tried to kill a retired Army General. After Oswald left his room he may have shot the cop (knowing he was the patsy who was about to be arrested.) Many of the Dallas police were crooked.
Talk to James Files about Hoffa. Why is it James Files has never been murdered? Because the CIA knew he never discussed the murder with anyone (until he was jailed for life). When he did talk about it he has never implicated anyone except the mob and his now dead cohort;

The CIA knew Mohrenschildt and Ruby had committed serious crimes, and were able to blackmail both of them. Ruby had to kill Oswald, Mohrenschildt had to commit suicide (why?) Ruby may have murdered either strip club dancers, or male homosexuals. Mohrenschildt killed himself to protect his wife.
Mockingbird is still in operation today. Only right wing writers are bribed or blackmailed.
We will never have a guarantee of privacy, in America, until we eliminate the CIA and the NSA.

The CIA has always been owned and operated by Right Wing America. If it's Director is appointed by a Left Wing President it is still owned and operated by the Right. The only way a court can gain Joannides' records would be to first dismantle the CIA.
If the CIA remains in existence more Americans (and foreigners) will be assasinated.
Jimmy Hoffa was the key man (the middle man) between the CIA and James Files (Kennedy's killer). That's why his body has never been found.
HW and GW Bush are the only living Presidents that know what (if any) records remain in the CIA that could imcriminate Joannides and others.
Nixon was directly involved in the JFK assasination; he was the most corrupt President of them all. His best friend was Cuban mafioso Bebe Robozo.
