Well... that was one of the solutions anyway.

This generally happens if you have the official version of the Google bar and Session Saver. The solution to this is uninstall both, and replace them with the unofficial version of the Google bar and Session Manager.

Hm, well, my alternative for Youtube is usually Vimeo. But I still stick with Youtube for, well, traffic reasons.

in YouTube Hits 100 Million Videos Per Day on Mashable - The Social Media Guide
Oooh, yeah, it happened to me too. I thought I'm the only one suffering from that, the whole crap with videos ending early. That's why most of the time, I ended up downloading the whole thing.

Another one for book lovers will be http://www.librarything.com where you get to record and categorize all the books you have, and find other users who have the same books etc.

Yeah, they are usually single videos unless you put an embedded player of a playlist. (kinda like the ones I put in myMyspace profile and my Friendster one.

I think it's highly likely that Myspace will be targeted. It's a perfect chance to reclaim competitive advantage. I'm sentimental, so my Friendster profile remains, but then, the majority of people in South East Asia are still pretty into Friendster (in fact, Myspace is almost unheard of over here in Malaysia).

Actually, Vimeo is pretty underrated, I feel (it even provides a link for you to download the original media file!). But yeah, as much as I liked it's slick-looking interface, I ended up sticking with Youtube due to its wider reach. I'm a sell-out.
Prior to Youtube, I was using Vsocial as well, it's just that the flash-based video roll badge they come out with is too clunky for my liking.

Hm. Don't think there's anything particularly innovative about it. I'm sure most people will stick with the likes of Flickr, Slide or even Photobucket more.

Yeah, my sister's a frequent user of Gaia Online. I frequented the forums a few times last year, but left because I just feel too old compared to the target audience (... and I'm only 22).
