The North High School auditorium capacity - 1,800.

50 tickets are distributed to 8 candidates campaigns = 400 tickets

200 tickets allocated to the local and national media

Wayne Ford and Mary Campos give out 1,200 tickets at their own discretion

I tried on 4 occasions over a four day period to obtain tickets from Urban Dreams (Wayne Ford Executive Director) without success. I e-mailed a request for tickets, I called twice and finally visited the office for tickets and each time I was given a different story about the ticket situation and each time I was denied access.

I live in and work in the community. It's unfortunate that two organizers have manipulated the process and denied access for local citizens of color to participate in the political process.
