in I need your input for Bloggers Connect SF ‘09 on The Real Estate Zebra
I like Todd's idea...but I think you should shoot for more like 20-25 minutes. Or mix it up! But in "my-tech-opinion" 10 minutes is a bit short to dive into the meat of topic or provide how-to implementation strategies. Just one twit's opinion!

Brendan Aiello Hi Daniel,
I will be a first time attendee for Bloggers Connect SF. So I really have no idea what to expect. I like the short topic ideas as well. I've been to other conferences and after 45+min of listening to the same person, my mind begins to wander. 10min does seem too short though 20-40 min. sounds like a good range.

See you there.

in It's All About You on Chris Brogan
I think the common mistake for those of us (maybe it's just me) striving to converse and collaborate the super smarties like you, is that we get caught up trying to show we have character....when having great character requires being a great listener. It's all in the details. I'm really try focus on the details of the people I meet to foster a common ground for getting to know them.

in 2009/01/13/social-media-resume/ on Mashable - The Social Media Guide
A Social Media
Resume should
demonstrate your
expertise...how well
you can connect with
and to your
audience. Some nice
advice...but I would
try something a bit
more progressive.

For example, I have
my own domain name
(NicoleNicolay.com)
routed to my
lifestream right on
my blog
(MyTechOpinion.com).
There you'll find my
current FB status, a
brief bio, all my
Web activity (or
lifestream of my
network
activities),videos
I've created,
archives of all my
blog articles and
Facebook Connect.
It's me,
transparently
professional...or at
least I think so.

in Google Friend Connect Integrated Twitter on LiveCrunch Technology Blog
Another one bites the dust....if you're FB Connect!

What do you think about the other side to Google Friend Connect equation....Facebook Connect? Have a post all ready on it's benefits...but still have a little trouble seamlessly integrating it. <> But I have integrated elsewhere and looks and feels great! Talk about instant blog community!

It's absolutely all about building relationships. Be yourself, share, and help....and you're bound to make the connections that will take your brand and your business to the next level.

May not be today or tomorrow...but good things DO come to those who don't spam.

in 25 Ways to Build Your Community on Chris Brogan
Couldn't agree more with #25...or the whole list for that matter. But particularly #25! The more you give...the more your own community will grow! It's that simple....but it does require effort and strategy.

I also like sharing media that sends community my way! Meeting peeps at events, taking pics and sharing on Flickr and Facebook helps facilitate bonding AFTER the event is over. I also create podcasts of all my helpful blog articles on MyTechOpinion.com and put them on iTunes. Both strategies have yielded pretty fair results.

in What is the Next Level For Your Blog? on The Real Estate Zebra
So true. Taking your blog to the next level is definitely going to look different from one blog to the next. I think we can help by narrowing down some blog types (ex: RE industry, broker centered, agent centered, neighborhood etc.), addressing ways to reach specific audiences (& grow readership & community), AND potentially looking at ways to monetize your blog by incorporating features and resources that won't distrac- but actually lend to the content.

Boy, that was a mouth full. I've been thinking on this one too Daniel. Looking forward to getting down to business at the Connect. So much great information to come our way! I can't wait! See you soon!

Have you considered adding Twirl (http://www.twhirl.org/) and TwitterBerry (http://www.orangatame.com/products/twitterberry/) to the list?
