I guess I don't understand blogging etiquette or something because I have been just shocked by how some bloggers will read something on another blog and then go dissect that entry on their own blog.

If you disagree and you MUST comment, why not comment in the comments section of the original blogger instead of going somewhere else to do it. To me, it's the real life equivalent of going into another room to gossip about someone.

I hate it.

And I never, ever do it.

I try to find common ground with other bloggers. A lot of times, if it's clear we have very differing opinions, I just let it go because we probably won't change each other's minds. I seldom engage in disagreement. It just doesn't seem worth it, especially with feminist blogs where, in the end, we ARE all on the same page, right?

I know they say the Democrats are trying for those "independent" voters and/or some of the "Christian" vote, but this stuff is making me so uncomfortable.

Two words: Rick Warren

Pro-lifers, huh? A group of them set off a bomb at a Planned Parenthood clinic (although THAT location did not even DO abortions), and that clinic was exactly blocks blocks from and on the same street as MY BABY'S DAYCARE. They are so pro-life but they would detonate a bomb five blocks from a daycare!! RIGHT!

I just typed a long comment about this and then windows crashed, so I'll just send you my blog entries about this issue and ask what you think. I'm still fighting the school board on this. I can't believe they did this.
