As for my latest kitchen gadget it is a quesadilla maker. Basically its a george forman grill but with groves to form cuts for the quesadilla. It works pretty well but you can't really fill the quesadilla with much or else it wont close correctly. But hey, I have 3 minute quesadillas now. On the aesthetic front it is kind of ugly. A big red chili looking thing.

As a Christian, I don't find the site offensive at all. If anything, it reminds me of how far short I fall in living up to my faith.

I appreciate the honesty, sincerity and fearlessness in questioning faith that I find here. It may be a bit over-the-top at times (such as the "tracts"), but it's no more over-the-top than some of the Christian media.

I'm still a Christian, but I thank you for having an open forum to question faith. Without searching, nobody has faith - they just have hollow tradition.

Is He really silent, or is he just not saying what we want to hear. My question is what do you expect? A voice from heaven like in the old testament, a writing on the wall some sort of miracle? He spoke to people in very explicit ways for generations before us and how did they respond? Same as we do today. With a shake of the fist. God I don't like your way, I prefare my own way thank you for nothing and stomped off. The pattern was repeated over and over again. So God came up with an even more explicit way - Jesus. Jesus Christ is an undeniable historical figure but the question is not whether he lived or not but what his life meant. If he was just a great moral teacher or a religious leader or a prophet of some sorts then we really are right where we have always been - no better off. But if he is the incarnate God as he claims to be then maybe God is speaking and we better pay attention. Look at Jesus' life as we are told it in the scriptures and lets pretend for a minute that the scriptures are believable. How would a loving God treat those he loved. I believe he would be compassionate, forgiving, gentle and kind he would be sensitive of their needs and take pains to show it. He would be indiscriminate in his affection and go to those no one even knew existed. If this God was also omnipotent then he would not be limited by physical circumstances as he did what he came to do and if he was omniscient he would respond to needs that had not even been voiced. Jesus demonstrated many of these qualities amply, if you believe the accounts and more importantly died or was crucified because of his claim to be God. Was he a liar, delusional, foolish or was that claim ascribed to him after the fact along with all the "miracles"? Much as those miracle are hard to swallow in the light of our present day experience it is even harder to believe that someone as sharp and as radically different as Jesus was said to be, could have been manufactured by a bunch of 12 uneducated men who by their own admission were many times several steps behind Jesus in his teaching. Even harder to believe is that these timid fearful men who all ran away after he was arrested would perpetrate the story of his life, his claim to be God and how he died including a very explicit indictment of the religious leaders who orchestrated his death. Unless they had seen something that convinced them beyond doubt that He really was who he claimed to be. I think a resurrection could do that. Finally it is about 2000 years later and we are still talking about a man who was born in a very small town, among the poorest of the poor, who did not have any formal education, had no claim to political power or authority and died a disgraceful death at the young age of 33. Why? I think its because the things he is claimed to have said have rung true for a lot of people through out many centuries and still ring true today. Those who walked with him thought he spoke the words of God and they staked their lives on it and went to great lengths to preserve his teachings. It is not inconcieveable that some of the accounts didn't quite happen the way they were reported and it is possible that som things attributed to him maybe never happened. In the absence of CNN, breaking news with live satelite feeds and embedded reporters, we have only the intergrity of the reporters of his day to believe. But before I discount the words of someone who is willing to die for a story I'd like to know the credibility of those who say otherwise.
All this is to say that God is not silent. He is speaking as he has always done. The method is a little different now than it was for Moses. But his message is clear. His love, if read through the life, teachings and death of Jesus Christ is unmistakable. So before you give up on him let me ask again when you ask God a question or bring a request to him what do you expect to hear? Do you expect a loud thundering voice or a whisper, because he does speak.

They are feminine and CARRY THEM SELVES
IN A MUCH MORE POSITIVE WAY than A LOT
of American Black Females.
These women face a lot of Discrimination.
MOST of them LIVE IN POVERTY.
Brazil is a VERY Color Struck country. Blacks in Brazil are considered to be the lowest in society
Yet Black Brazilian women do not have the
Shitty attitude that a lot of American Black females have.

When will black people wake up and recognize that they don't have to work harder than their white counterparts. In reality it's whites who have to work harder to get into top universities in this nation. Comprehensive review gives university administrators a face-saving explanation for admissions disparities that appear racially motivated. In 2003, for example, John Moores Sr., the one remaining Regent committed to colorblind meritocracy, disclosed that Berkeley had admitted 374 applicants in 2002 with SATs under 1,000—almost all of them “students of color”—while rejecting 3,218 applicants with scores above 1,400.

UCLA had similar admissions disparities. A study of UCLA admissions from 1998 to 2001—before the official onset of comprehensive review—showed that, even controlling for economic status and school ranking, blacks were 3.6 times as likely to be admitted as whites. A study of Boalt Law School admissions by Richard Sander revealed disparities between minorities and whites of such magnitude that to posit any explanation other than race seems fanciful. Boalt assigns each applicant a numerical index based on college grades and Law School Admissions Test scores. In 2002, it admitted 92 percent of white applicants with an index of 250 or higher but only 5 percent with an index between 235 and 239. By contrast, it admitted 75 percent of black applicants in the 235–239 range in 2002 and 65 percent in 2003. No black applicants had an index of 250 or higher. Even a 2004 university study acknowledged that there were admissions disparities by race that nonacademic, nonracial factors could not account for.

Being black in this country has huge advantages nowadays. The old saying that blacks have to be twice as good was valid 50 years ago, it's not valid at all today.

As a white man, I could never date a black woman. I think I speak for most non-black men. I would be deathly embarrassed to bring her around my family and friends. Also, many black females are racist and have bad attitudes. I do find a very small percentage of black women pretty, but Black women as a group have VERY UGLY personality problems.

It's the pathetic attitude of Black AMERICAN Women combined with the crusty ass weaves and
body weight problems that make A LOT OF BLACK GUYS WANT TO DATE OUTSIDE THE RACE and most white guys avoid them like the plague.

Furthermore, I hate black culture. I think it's a gutter culture. I don't want to be around that nonsense. I've had black women ask me why I do not date black females? I TELL them the truth, I don't like WEAVES,or WIGS. I am not attracted to Bitter jealous,hating females who like to Gossip.
I get Peace of mind and a drama free relationship with women of my own race or Asian women. In my mind white women and Asian women will always reign supreme. The only white men who are into black chicks are the wiggers. Wiggers are white men with no knowledge of themselves. They're white men with very little self-esteem. There is a racial hierarchy in the world and black women are at the bottom. In my opinion, dating a white woman is an honor. Dating a black woman is an embarrassment.

I was at the game last night, the first time I have seen Papelbon in person. The ball just seems to explode when it gets to home plate... the Rangers were completely overmatched and looked like they knew it. It's not just the speed though... he painted the outside corner against Young and Wilkerson. It was a beautiful thing watching the faces of the Rangers fans in the 9th... they knew they had no chance. Never seen that before from a Sox pitcher.

I have to agree with Richard. This is the worst game I have purchased since the 8-bit revolution. What a let down. Lets start with the NON-animated cartoon characters. Yes thats correct, not only did the makers of this game cheap out on actual actors. They couldn't even make the cartoon characters animated. The menu screen fits perfectly with the characters...they have a feel thats just a cheap. The actual gameplay is so repetetive that the game got boring within the first hour of playing. Same missions over and over. The graphics in the missions aren't bad as long as you only look at the jet you are flying. As for everything else in the game, nothing looks real at all! Seriously, I think this game could have been released on Super NES or N64 back in the day. Please to anyone reading this, if you are excited about this game....RENT IT or play the demo first! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS GAME! You will definately regret it. AS DO I

I have to agree with everyone. 43 mpg isnt all that great for a small car such as that one.

It still is possible in alot of states(I know a CVCC engine can meet emission standards in MO). The old hondas with the CVCC engine got those kind of mpg figures without a cat converter and still met emission standards. With modern technology Im sure the same technology back then could be used to meet todays emission standards.

If Rahm is ineligible, while I admire Durbin tremendously, I think the most improved Congressman is Mark Kirk. 3. Lisa M. While Pat Quinn is a spirited populist idea machine that I will always admire, his sparring with the governor has rendered him largely impotent. While Alexi is bright, and promising and has made the most of the Treasurer gig, his ability to affect change is very limited. Probably the greatest turnaround at any cab level office is AG, and Lisa M has handled herself very well while being forced to make tough decisions, all while being Michael Madigan's daughter creates many immediate skeptics of her objectivity.

This depends largely on what you're using as a measuring stick. In terms of intellectual gifts, I'd go with Adlai Stevenson. But without a good way to rank one against another, on the basis of courage and character, I submit that John Peter Altgeld was the greatest Governor of Illinois.

Altgeld sacrificed his political career with the Haymarket pardons, and was subsequently proven to be a prescient thinker on criminal justice issues. He is the only individual featured in JFK's "Profiles in Courage" for his role as Governor. In terms of character, and moral leadership, and willingness to sacrifice political advancement for simple justice, none since Altgeld measure up.

It's nice for me to have found this blog of yours. I read and saw what I could, my time is short.

I often come across with so good but lonely blogs in my friendly random search,
my search for a public that may like or love what I POETRY write and also CHRONICLE,
among other types of Artistic Texts: we all search HAPINESS and JOY, don't we?
Well I'm realy happy to have found YOU.

I've learned and seen a lot after much more than 10.000 blogs I've visted in the late three months.
And I will, like Titanic's Kate, keep on and on and on and, like the song, feel that I 'Still haven't found what I'm looking for'.

When you come and visit me feel free to comment as you wish and, TOGETHER, let's make blogguing universal,
realy universal, as well all the essential causes that bring us all together by visiting, helping and loving one another this GENTLE way.

Let me tell you that some I visit feel invaded and ofended that I present myself this way in their blogs
and rudely insult me back or post a mockery post on me.
Some think I'm playing the smart guy who wants to profit in some way from (and with) others curiosity and benevolence.
Some simply ignore me.
Some aknowledge that It's most important we all take notion that there's milions of us bloguing arownd the world
and thus vital any kind of awareness of eachother such as I believe
this my self-introduction card and insert apeal brings in.

I think that in the end it's to UNITE MANKIND that we became bloggers!
