in Virgin Atlantic has no sense of haha - fires Facebook 13 on The Inquisitr
Whether people like it or not, Facebook and other social networks are public sites, which means anything you post on FB is the equivalent of shouting it repeatedly in public.

These employees were foolish for making fun of Virgin passengers in the public eye. We don't know what the group page looked like, but if they used the Virgin logo as the group's main image then all their remarks would appear to be coming from the proverbial horse's mouth.

Complain about your customers via messenger-or at least have the brains to make your group private.

in Quick Vote: Which Book Cover Would You Choose? on Ignite Social Media
I love how you've co-opted the "click" icon into branding the cover of your book in the first one. A well-known online image paired with a traditional martini glass? That's what makes it work.

The second, well....it immediately called to mind a high school "Drinking Is Bad" poster. Go with the first one!

.....Alas. I'm afraid you're wrong. It is my name that can be heard when the COWnappers' message is played backwards.

Excellent PR move....I'll stay tuned!

in Social Network Geographics - 39 Sites Compared on Ignite Social Media
I'm surprised Facebook was so low in Canada, considering how everyone in Toronto seems to be on it!...its popularity may be lower in other regions of the country, so it would average out this way.

It might be better for Google to collect data from different regions of larger countries for better accuracy (nitpick, nitpick, nitpick....)

in Where We Stand on What's Cool In Online Video
Congratulations on your Hollywood deal! If Tinseltown wants to work with you, Canadian networks should too.

We need an online network of our own-maybe Unleash will help get us one.
It will come down to supply and demand-if there are enough rumblings out there for a Canadian online network, the networks will see value in launching an online channel. Here's hoping those rumblings get loud enough soon.
