They all seem rather boring or try to be "funny".
>>Old 2600 episodes
Hmmm, might check this out.

Some of the SANS webcasts are somewhat decent, however there's a few problems. One, often the first 20 minutes is just vendor advertising. Two, they are in Realaudio, which can't be downloaded all in one go, and then you have to use something like Streambox ripper to convert them to mp3. Plus some are rather simplistic.
>>Foreign language osmosis
Somehow I don't think so.

There's also tools like Audiocast which will convert a HTML page to mp3, but I've yet to find a good use for this.

Re: Security/Safety Measure Repercussions

The post appears partially in the RSS feed but not the webpage itself

Re: New Site Logo

That's awful

Re: New Site Logo

Well, he did ask for feedback. In fact that's one of the big things I learnt after reading one of his books. I used to think of network capture mainly in terms of full-content capture; now I think that session data alone, is highly underrated.

Re: XHTML 1.0 Strict Validation

This page is not valid XHTML 1.0 Strict! :)

Re: Has My Site Been Faster Lately?

Yes, I think so

Re: The Cloud: Reducing Security To Way Above Where It Is Today

Apologies in advance for the lack of structure in what I'm about to write.

One thing that came to mind when reading your article which I thought was more important was the effect of being in 'the Cloud' with regard to security monitoring.

Do the consequences of having a dramatic reduction in visibility with regard to security monitoring outweigh the benefit of increased security that may come with a shift to 'the Cloud' ?

I would say yes. In fact that's one of the big things I learnt after reading one of his books. I used to think of network capture mainly in terms of full-content capture; now I think that session data alone, is highly underrated.

Re: XHTML 1.0 Strict Validation

This page is not valid XHTML 1.0 Strict! :)
