This is really bad advice.

Nothing even comes close to Ad Muncher's depth and range of ad blocking abilities.

Not only can it do more than any other ad blocker, it does it transparently without any proxy settings and it does it OUT OF THE BOX.

Along with DAILY filter list updates I will never switch to another ad blocker.

bfilter and adblock plus are both TOYS.

Welcome to the Internet. You don't stop being a parent when you feel like it; if you don't want your kid seeing porn, then goto the websites first, if you don't want him seeing porn, don't let him watch TV after 8pm. There was no "intrusion"; on the contrary YOU visited THEIR site.

And besides, I saw pictures of naked women when I was 12 and I turned out fine.
