in Leopard Dock crash on Life is grand
I'd have to agree. I placed MkConsole (http://www.mulle-kybernetik.com/software/MkCons...) on my desktop to keep an eye on logs as they happen. Leopard seems to spew errors compared to Tiger.
You'd be amazing by the amount of invalid image errors and calls to depreciated libraries.
External hard-disks also seem to generate huge amounts of warnings on Leopard. Its like a beta rushed to a deadline.

in An end to Quicksilver? on Life is grand
I'm about to drive to the local mac supplier and pick up a copy.
why?
-DTrace. As an engineer this is a huge new step. The benefits for applications are downstream but it think they will be far reaching.
-Performance improvements. Each Mac OS has improved on the same hardware. and spotlight is seemingly a lot more usable.
-I'm a sucker for upgrades
The best and most compressive review by far is the on at arstechnica

There is a discussion of the Qucksilver / spotlight issue on page 15.

Is this O2 modem a huawei e220 ?
If it is do you have any issues with it and your mac ?
mine is a Tele2 branded one (sweden) and my macbook locks up periodically.
