in Happy Birthday Laura! on Justin R. Levy
Happy Birthday Laura! I'm glad I got to meet you, albeit briefly, at Social Media Breakfast last month (you actually came to a social media event! woot!). I just hope that, now that you guys are moving up, we'll be seeing more of you.

Have a wonderful birthday!

in Learning How to Use Twitter Effectively on Justin R. Levy
Justin - great post. I think we (heavy twitter users) often forget the twitter-bubble that we live in. We are very much a select group, even though twitter is going more and more mainstream. It will be interesting to see where this goes, with all the education going around about twitter, and potentially more and more marketing / business users getting involved with social media.

in Week 2: Twitter, blogging basics, and conversation web 2.0 on Chelpixie.com
Thanks for the shout-out, Chel! I have to say, it can be tricky to manage both a personal and a corporate twitter account - going back and forth, deciding which great links/tweets to share with one or the other or both... would love to hear your thoughts once you're at it tweeting both @chelpixie and @vibemetrix . I feel like there aren't a ton of us two-time tweeters out there.

Great idea, by the way - we'll definitely pass on the suggestion to add "preferred contact method" to forms.

That's definitely our next step - right now we have a couple couches (with orange pillows of course) but we'll be coming out with HubSpot sleep pods soon for sure!

Thanks May for the great words about HubSpot! It's true we don't sleep. We just surf the web to respond to comments about us. Seems I just made the 4-hour cutoff?

maychu I think you were faster than 4 hours. I shall try blogging about Hubspot again around 9 pm my time to really test your response time :P

in On Twitter and Listening on Chris Brogan
We all talk a lot about the importance of listening, but I still think it's great to have another post with another great example.

I, too, have had both positive and negative experiences with brands on twitter. Firefox was already mentioned above, and MailChimp is actually another good one. I've tweeted about issues and they've gotten back to me. Not only are these opportunities to put out fires early on, but they are opportunities to make a dissatisfied customer into an evangelist for your company (like DorotheeRH's earlier comment tweeting about great customer service).

in Crafting an Inbound Marketing Strategy on Justin R. Levy
Glad you enjoyed the presentation, Justin! There's definitely a lot more we could talk about for implementing an effective inbound marketing strategy, but these are the basics, but even the basics can have a big impact for businesses. Thanks!

in A Day Without Twitter on Chris Brogan
Hi Chris,

I love twitter for its quick and easy access to information and opinions. I find it's as valuable as catching up on my Google Reader and when I miss a day I feel like I've missed out on some great news or links. Yesterday was also sad because a few people I follow, including yourself, were off for the day so it was a pretty quiet day in my twitterfeed... happy to see your tweets back.
