P, there's a mass grave of the plague victims at the catacombs where you can see the remains of it...piles and piles of bones...it's quite deep down.

did you go to the underground tombs at st stephan? i love vienna. a great walking city and their viennese sausages are superb too...

Im old and this is my first blog ever.

Alas...John even 20,000. 00 is too much for me right now...I have medical bills up the kazoo from breast cancer and other matters...I live month to month without being able to save. I was just in a car accident that totaled my car and I had to get a used one for 4,000.00 so that I wouldn't have a payment every month...I got the most fuel efficient I could find for the money...a toyota corolla.
I did see that the used hybrids are 11,000.00 and maybe some day they will be in my price range. I don't own I rent so can't do much about solar anything. I do however subscribe to a program here on long island where if you pay extra for your electric the power company will buy your alotment of usage from renewable wind and hydro from upstate. I got the lightbulbs and I do recycle everything and have a compost heap. I buy organic ( the cancer ), I do the best I can with what I have but do wish I could get a car at least that didn't pollute at all.

and I wish to see the giant sequoias and the tongas before I die, or before the republicans destroy them.

The point is that
the average joe can't afford to do these improvements...I certainly can't but want to.
I want a more fuel efficient car like a hybrid but can't afford it.

The point is that what should happen is that the industries invest into these green technologies and eventually make it affordable for the masses.
Once the masses start using clean technologies then the planet stabelizes...hopefully...if it's not too late already.

Green technologies are becoming profitable and desireable to the money makers...
Your precious corporations will adopt it sooner or later for no other reason than the bottom line. Lets hope it happens sooner than later.

Lets hope that they are smarter than us idiots waisting time on a blog such as this and get to work.

Gosh Bob...that's exactly how I feel about you conservatives word for word...I've said them in the past to friends. Using Sheep metaphor and all...So what gives? Why are we all so divided?
It's because we are getting our facts from different sources. You get them from Fox I get them from Mother Jones and Union of Concerned Scientists. So who is in the middle folks...tell me which news source is in the middle...who's telling the real truth ?
I'm also using my own observation of the earths changes in my own back yard. Hasn't anyone noticed anything different or unusual, I have.

Hey guys...do you know that Exon Mobil has been spending and FUNDING Junk Science for at least a decade if not more to find Scientists who are willing to dispute global warming. There is even a gigantic list as to which organizations( I forget where the link is, ...it's old news ya know) The Scientists say what they want them to say and then they get their funding for all kinds of research that they didn't have and needed.
The idea that there is NOT a consensus of the experts IS THE HOAX. Please look beyond the normal places you get your information from. Make it diverse. And then tell us it isn't happening...

I agree with you we need to deal with disease hunger and genocide and dealing with Global Warming IS dealing with 2 of these issues you mention. We want the same things it's just how we look at the solutions that differ. Pretty soon millions of people will be without homes because of coastal flooding. Famin will arise because of severe drought in some areas and flooding in others, and what about all the natural resources we depend on that are going to go extinct. It is a very Humanity first issue that is at stake here. The ecosystem is the foundation that we all are supported on. WE must find a way to communicate with each other and find a solution.
A friend in AA said that the first step is recognizing that there is a problem.

WEll there is a problem and we must stop being in denial. Please go and deversify where you get your information.

Ok maybe this would help...don't look at politicians to tell you the truth. Even though they are trying...don't look at them...Go to the unslanted real scientists go to their websites hear their voices. It's real its happening now and we must find a way to really communicate so we can get to work and fix the problem.

It it obvious that you are one of many that has fallen for the bull. It's very simple to figure out for most people who choose to use their brains. You on the other hand are using your emotions. You are too emotionally attached to your hate for liberals to see reality. It is your kind of thinking that is going to stop us from saving ourselves... When the planet is realing and the suffering gets so bad...I want you to think back on how you were one of the ones who made it worse instead of tried to make it better. Scott is right.
