hey gossip, could you put the counter online somewhere as we discussed yesterday? it would give us a good idea of where we're at.

#34, i said this before and i will say this again. different people like PJG for different reasons. so there's a big chance that trimming *anything* would drive many people away from it. we love pjg for what it is and some of us would like to see even more features added if we can get the financials sorted out. remember, Gossip is not trying to make money on it. instead he's working his butt off to keep it running. and all we need to do is to help him pay the hosting bill. he's not asking us to pay his booz bills =)

lets also email ND and ask if there's anything they could do to help us out here. i think they know how much important PJG is to many of us and how different jumpgate would be without it.

RoyofCA, no one is making the PJG payments mandatory. i repeat, this is completely volunteraly. and we don't mind if you cannot donate because you don't have any extra money, because i beleive we all know how tough it can be sometimes. its just a game after all. however some of us that could and willing to help may try to save the PJG in its current form, because this is the form that many many people like.

ah coool. thats really neat gossip. would it be possible to have the combo-box not be there if there's nothing prior to that month? seeing empty combo-box there got me real confused until i read your entry on the front page :) no biggie, just wondering.

ah nevermind... i got it :) i was expecting to see something in control panel which would show whether any of the entries that i have commented in have got more recent comments than mine.

i must be getting old, cause i can't find such an indicator anywhere... could ya help me out here plz?

#13, excellent idea, however given the current style of the web-site it might be better to use the plain text markers instead. i really like that the site only has images in the personal blogs and nowhere else, but that might be just me.
