I share your peeve about the feminist apologists. If you don't agree with feminism ("I'm not a feminist"), but you are going to invoke one of the tenets you think others must attribute to it ("but the statement I am about to make will imply that I am because it is one commonly believed to be held by feminists"), then - why aren't you just a feminist? OXFPY, I say.

Wow! I actually met all the criteria but one - what's a resident discount card and where do I get it? (Oh, I don't think my library card is expired. But I have one! I'm giving myself a point for this anyway b/c I have the link to sfpl.org in my favorites, and know what night my branch is open late.)

My blog is all about proving you can still have teenage goth-like angst well into - uh, partially into - your 30s. And stuff that cracks me up.

I love the champagne tailgaters at the ski jump. Just awesome. The heat that day made me a bit skeptical about this event - I was reminded of the giant Snapple popsicle that flooded New York earlier this year.
Adah and I take no offense to your review. Part of the beauty of these walks is that they center around neighborhoods, so the walker's touristy appreciation is tempered by the locals going about their days.
