Jimmy Carter started this whole thing with the Community Reinvestment Act that gave loans to the wrong people, Bill Clinton expanded it and Barack Obama worked with the rest of the Democrats to shoot down John McCain and even (gasp) George Bush's attempts to fix it in 2003 and 2005.

This is the main stream equivalent of the Democratic party in Australia, scoble, not "Far Right or Far Left". Bush has never even suggested this, nor has the vast majority of freedom-loving Republicans.

This is an extension of the government nanny state (they even provided free copies of Net Nanny) that Democrats have been pushing since day one. They want to take care of you from cradle to grave with programs ranging from $500 grants at birth that Hillary advocated for to universal healthcare (worked great for Britian... except for all those people whose records were released, and all the 3 month waits for surgery) to social security.

Face it, Australia made a bad choice with the labor party and if you vote for a Democrat in the states you are voting for the same thing, more big government nanny state actions and less freedom.

That turned me off as well as the fact that the other big player, Intense Debate, doesn't seem to handle trackbacks at all either.

Using a centralized system like that is kind of like blogging on facebook, your creating content for someone else ultimately.

You sound like you're throwing a bit of a tantrum. Sorry to hear this happened but let's count the number of times my friend with vista has had to do a complete clean reinstall since he installed it 6 months ago... 1... 2.... 3.

I hope some troubleshooting like PXLated suggest works.

Trackback must not be working. You actually can get your positions in all keyword searches just as you mentioned through another Google tool.

All of the buzz around this focuses on features and what the Voyager supposedly has the the iPhone doesn't. The iPhone (and Apple in general) is all about how the features are integrated, the user experience is seamless.

If I have to visually touch my way into an app, then switch to a keyboard and type/navigate traditional menus it's not seamless at all. If anything this just pushes Apple to keep the price down and keep improving the capability of the still best-in-class device out there.
