Let's consider that for a moment, shall we? What did Cindy give? Did she give her son or did he of his own volentary will, join the armed forces? She does not respect his sacrifice, she does not respect what he did, she does not respect his peers, and she does not respect his beliefs. Did I leave something out? She has no connection whatsoever to anything her son did. In fact, she ardently protests against the very thing of which he was a part. In my mind, that means she didn't purchase anything. HER SON and OTHERS LIKE HIM purchased freedom of speech for ALL OF US. She has no special rights just because she lost a family member. She has the rights that everyone else has and I'm tired of wimpy peole, afraid of the PC crowd, who are willing to give her free reign and not question a thing she said because of her son. Her son and others like him died ensure the very opposite of that; namely, that ALL PEOPLE have the SAME freedom of speech.

Re: MsUnderestimated » Blog Archive » Fred Phelps Gang to Picket Virginia Tech’s Funerals

I'm a minister and have made a habit out of observing and understanding human behavior. In my time I've learned that some people use religion as a mask for something else that they would not want to express. I do not necessarily buy into their line that God hates America. I know He doesn't. What I see is a bunch of people, led by Phelps, who hate America and they've found that their perverted form of religion gives them a way to both express their hatred and look like innocent victims at the same time.

No person, after a common sense reading of the Bible could come away with the idea that hatred is the rule of the day. Only a person needing an outlet could do that.

It's not God that hates America. The Phelps klan hates America.

Re: MsUnderestimated » Blog Archive » Fred Phelps Gang to Picket Virginia Tech’s Funerals

Ms.U: Could you please give me an email contact. Amazing... You know, for all the belly aching that the defeatocrats do, most if not all of them voted for the war. If Bush is a war criminal then they are too. Funny how they love to forget that vote.

Re: MsUnderestimated » Blog Archive » Sean Penn: Bush Et Al Should Be in F’ing Jail (VIDEO)

Assuming that it's possible for you to be correct, Orion, let me ask you this: If a government "leader" (must use that term loosely when dealing with defeatocrats) is lied to and takes action based upon that lie, who is to blame? The "liar" or the "leader" who didn't take the time to investigate the situation clearly before acting? At best they share equal blame. Now, all this is assuming you are correct, which, of course, you're not.

If the defeatocrats can be so easily duped, are they really qualified to be leaders?

Re: MsUnderestimated » Blog Archive » Sean Penn: Bush Et Al Should Be in F’ing Jail (VIDEO)

First of all, the term "defeatocrats" not kindergarten playground debating techniques. It is a term that is wholly accurate since the overwhelming vast majority of democrats have wholeheartedly embraced defeat in Iraq and ultimately the war on terror. Thus, I'm not using a pejorative label. I'm merely calling it like it is. There is absolutely nothing wrong with using accurate terminology.

Second, you hypocritically accuse me of engaging in "kindergarten playground debating techniques" after "labeling" me as having a -25 intelligence.

Third, I fully believe that the listener in ANY situation has the responsibility to investigate the situation as fully as possible before reaching a conclusion. The defeatocrats claim that Bush lied yet if that's the case, they spewed the same "lies" themselves only a short time before the war. If he did lie and they swallowed that lie then they are a bunch of gullible idiots.

Fourth, I never said that our country should not expect our leaders to be truthful. We should. However, as a general rule, I never swallow what I'm told. I investigate to the best of my ability and draw only such conclusions as are warranted by the evidence. I fully believe our leaders have that responsibility as well. After all, they are making the critical decisions. I would hope they're not so gullible and lazy that they can't investigate situations fully before acting.

Fifth, I never said that if someone duped our leaders it was the fault of the duped and not the duper. I believe both share equal blame. The duper for duping and the duped for being too gullible and lazy to investigate the situation fully.

You're missing my overall point here: The defeatocrats make themselves look terrible in so many ways when they oppose the war on terror. When they say their tired old cliché, "Bush lied" they make themselves look like gullible idiots who went along with a liar.

Re: MsUnderestimated » Blog Archive » Where the Dems Get Their Talking Points

How does it feel to be a liberal mouthpiece, Jubair? You attack the fair tax program with a hypothetical situation for which you offer no solution. You attack the supporters of the fair tax program as worshippers of their "little god, Boortz." This only hurts your credibility and portrays you as one who has a personal vendetta with Boortz. This does not help your case.

I know nothing about the fair tax program. But, considering the exchange I've seen on this blog, I'm inclined to support it. Its supporters offer evidence upon which a person can make a rational decision. You, Cpl Frank, have offered only insults and a meaningless hypothetical situation. You have no credibility or believability in my sight.

Re: MsUnderestimated » Blog Archive » The Fair Tax Rally, Pre-Debate, in SC (VIDEO)

Fred,
Troy did answer the question, in case you missed it.

Cpl,
You're still attacking Boortz as if that's going completely to destroy the fair tax program. I don't honestly care who sends out the rebate checks. The agency who does it is irrelevant. You still haven't delved into the fair tax plan enough to answer it as a plan. All you can do is point to something you believe to be hypothetically impossible and then make fun of Boortz. That's not the way to make a point. It is the way to ruin your own credibility.

Who cares about Boortz? I don't. So what if he didn't graduate from college. I don't have a B.S. degree either. Does that make me incapable of understanding the fair tax plan? I don't support the fair tax plan because of Boortz. I support it because, after reading up on it, it seems to be a much better plan than the current nightmare.

If you have something to say about the fair tax plan itself (besides your hypothetical situations) then say it. Otherwise, go bash Boortz somewhere else. The fact that you have to bash Boortz shows just how little you really do understand about the fair tax plan.

Re: MsUnderestimated » Blog Archive » The Fair Tax Rally, Pre-Debate, in SC (VIDEO)

Fred,

You said:

"Your remark that you “don’t care who sends out the checks each month, and that the agency is irrevelant”,speaks much about your intelligence!"

This is exactly the kind of nonsense that ruins your credibility. You have to stoop to insulting my intelligence in order to bolster your case. Maybe the SSA can administer the checks and maybe they can't. The point is, you don't know they can't. You just attack attack attack.

When I said that it is irrelevant who sends the checks, here is what I meant: I trust that those who will (hopefully) put this into law will find a way to get it done. If that means using the SSA or some other existing or new agency then fine by me. I really don't care who sends the checks.

The problem with your irresponsible negativity is that it does not offer any solutions. It also causes you to become very negative in how you respond to others which just comes off making you look little and mean. I say this to try to help you. If you want to be part of a constructive conversation then offer solutions, not just problems.

Re: MsUnderestimated » Blog Archive » The Fair Tax Rally, Pre-Debate, in SC (VIDEO)

Fred:

I can only say one thing: ROFL!!

If everything you stand for is rooted in anger and childish insults then I know I must be on the correct side. This seems to be SOP when libs discuss a topic. Let me kindly direct you back to the point they are making with their counter. So many people claim that Islam is a religion of peace. The number of attacks show otherwise. That's the only point they are making and it's apparently one you can't answer since you have to bluster on ignorantly about other topics.
