in Toilet Paper Can Create Great Conversation. on Ramana's Musings
Some human beings are content to use leaves as toilet paper. Other human beings are conditioned to do everything in excess. People have reasons for each of their choices and overall lifestyle. Yet, not everyone is willing to open their senses and be aware of what they do, or why they think and feel as they do. When you are not conscious of reasons behind your behaviour, you are not in the mental place to be able to change deliberately and consciously in your best interest. Your view of what is good is limited by choice.

in An Utopia In The Making? Auto Ban?? on Ramana's Musings
To use cars or not is a choice. Each person chooses where he decides to live with all of the apparent conditions. One can always blame something outside the self for one's choices, and yet, this only denies or avoids taking responsibility for the life you choose.

in Freedom. on Ramana's Musings
Freedom is a concept often highly-misunderstood. Human beings often assume they must earn it and then lose it, or spend much of their physical lives working to re-obtain it. Yet, every human being has unlimited freedom mcu like each human being has unlimited love. Nonetheless, many people spend time in this world creating circmstances that allow them to hide from their authentic selves and to deny the reality they know deep down is truly theirs. To recognize everything you think, feel and create is a choice, changes how you view responsibility, different inds of learning, evolving awareness and a multi-dimensional purpose for existing at this moment.

in An Incredible Story. on Ramana's Musings
As a person comes to realize soul decides when transition from the physical form occurs, then that person no longer assumes what people outside himself say on impending death. Many people are diagnosed with terminal illness and told they have little time to live. For those who choose not to listen, their destiny often differs from those whose thoughts, mood and words elicit feelings of being already dead.

in Your Opinion On : Revealing Shameful Acts on Paulo Coelho's Blog
One perspective is nothing is shameful; no thought, feeling or gesture. Enlightenment occurs on different levels. Lessons are available everywhere. To nurture a pure heart means you grasp nakedness is natural, not shameful. You recognize complete transparency is not to be feared as weakness, but that vulnerability actually brings strength. No human being has anything to hide. NOthing is ever hidden from Source. The belief you can hide and have reason to hide anything is an illusion that perpetuates other illusions. It is a vicious circle that controls you until you change that.

in Marriage, Sugar Daddies, Mommies And Other Possibilities. on Ramana's Musings
Different cultures have their own traditions and guidelines. Some people recall French President Mitterand's lifestyle and the presence of his mistress and daughter at his funeral along with his official wife. What is acceptable behaviour in one culture is often judged and ridiculed in another. Any impulse to judge another is an invitation to explore reasons for anger or discomfort within the self. Beliefs and reactions are conditioned. Love is all there truly is. HUmn beings forget that temporarily. Readers may be interested in this:

in Association of the Week: Bread on Paulo Coelho's Blog
Bread is viewed in a range of forms such as a staple or optional side dish. Its use as a food in the physical world is based on availability, cost and preference. In formless worlds, spirit have no need for physical sustenance. However, the symbolism that one cannot live by on bread alone is a more far-reaching phrase than is often realized.

rummuser, trauma is a creation of the mind. If you choose to experience pain, then you also choose when you will dissolve that mental state. You will only let go of discomfort once you have gained the insight and experience you require from it. Happiness and love is all that exists. Your immortal soul requires the benefits involved in finding inner courage and taking meaningful journeys. Healing is occurring within you. Soon, you will sense new depth of this experience. As you grow wiser, you will experience new levels of serenity.

Rummuser Liara, there is a saying in Hindi which means may your tongue be ever sweetened with clarified butter and sugar. It is a blessing when someone hopes that what you say comes true. I send you that saw with gratitude. I am also flattered that you think that I will grow wiser! Conrad, I am sure will disagree.

Many human beings view love as fantasy or, something temporarily out of reach, yet desirable all the same. Other human beings evolve to realize they are love, that love is energy which simply changes form and beckons each person to deeepen self- understanding. In this way, love is imperceptible, formless, reassuring and ever-present.

in 5 Simple Ways To Get Your Green On on In The Raw
Eating local is a fabulous concept that people are not always excited to embrace. To live in an area where fruits and vegetables are plentiful all year round makes it easier. If a person lives in a climate that only permits seasonal growth of local produce, then a shift in mindset to decide not to buy imported produce. OPtions exist- you could set up a greenhouse and look into other options. The key is to be willing to be flexible and open-minded.

earthmother So true! Here in the arctic tundra, the only local produce from November to April is going to come from a hothouse, if at all. I've had to broaden my perception of "local" considerably. For instance, this winter I enjoyed fresh seasonal citrus from Florida that had to travel roughly 1,000 miles to my table.

To move beyond judgment is to be in another mental place.
Human beings can depend neither on public opinion nor strong leadership to produce the wisdom society needs to manage public issues of the moment. To realize the limits and dangers of public opinion is to begin to uncover wisdom. Alexander Hamilton suggested, it is not public opinion that people need to guide them, but wise public judgment -- "the deliberative sense of the community."

rummuser, labels nly distract human beings form the truth that hides beneath them.
A Taoist views crisis as opportunity to explore and improve life experience. A Taoist often acts very simply or not at all. To overreact removes the power of the situation to help those involved to actually learn and make it past the transitional stages of the crisis.

Consider also Zen thinking. This uses paradox to teach. The riddle is often illogical or contradictory. Zen koans (riddles) work by creating a crisis of logic which literally breaks the mind out of one pattern and reorients it into a new direction.
