I signed up for Nerdy Works and they actually scheduled me for a call. It was sixty miles away, but no one else wanted it, and I figured I would make some brownie points.

The call was for a rental home, to repair a flat screen. I said what the hey, I'm not doing anything at that time. When I got there, the parts were waiting for me. I took apart the system only to discover that it was the wrong part.

Nerdy works said, if you have to go back, you need another ticket #. I called the number they had on the paper work and they gave me a new number. I then called the dispatch guy who took the number.

After submitting all my paper work, I didn't here anything for a week. I then went back to the service call, and repaired the system. Again, I had to fill out all the paper work and send it in.

Another week went by and the dispatch guy said, here's our credit card number, the money from our customer won't be in until tomorrow night, so don't charge the card until the following day.

I got busy and forgot, so the day after that I tried charging the card for the money I was due and it was DECLINED. I waited a day, and tried again, and you guest it, DECLINED.

I called the dispatch guy again and sent him an email. I finally got mad and called Eli. He told me that the manager would be in any time now, and he would make sure he got the message.

The following day, a lady called and told my wife they would send out a check. A week and a half later I got an email from a new dispatcher, and she said, we need you to send us all your paper work again, and that only one call would be paid for.

Of course, I was upset at that point and threaten to call my attorney, plus call local tv stations.

A week or so went by, and I finally got ahold of the old dispatcher, who told me he would invoice the main customer for the second call for me.

I know this is a long story, but to this day, I haven't received one penny for these guys, and have three charges charged to my account. Luckily, they're only a few bucks.

I'm so glad you guyes mentioned that the owner lives in NJ. Guess where I live??????

Now, I'm not going to do anything to land me in jail, but I can send the local TV Station who happens to be based in New York, and covers our area, plus they're owned by a worldwide company.

I hope everything turns out for the best, meaning us. Thanks for letting me vent.

I'm involved with some new companies, and some other business in different industries. If anyone wants to go back to work for a big company let me know and I'll hook you up.

Blogged out, BlogMania

Re: What’s going on with Nerdy Work?

You know, since someone started this blog, I was able to get ahold of Clarence. He seems like a good person, he didn't try to say he was someone else when he answered the phone.

I was told to call back on Monday, so we'll see what happens. If I get the money owed to me, I'll obviously give a good posting, otherwise, it won't be as favorable as one would like.

Re: What’s going on with Nerdy Work?

Tamijo, and OSMers,

I called Matt Z. and he never called me back. I was told by some lady that the dispatcher will have to take a look at it when she comes back from her honeymoon.

In the mean time, I've done some reading on selling on the internet.

If NerdyWorks/Joe Nerd sells on the Internet, and doesn't delivery, the FTC can get involved. If they do, they can walk in shut the site down, and cart off every computer, piece of paper, files, notebooks, EVERYTHING.

Now, as a tech, I don't know that they sold us anything, except for the Card Service.

I've heard some say that hey, maybe it's a young company! That doesn't give them the right to not pay us. I bet everyone from that group has received money, or they've been lied to just as we have, and told, if the company goes public, you'll be millionaires.

I worked for a company that did that, except they paid us our monthly salary.

I hope the people at Joe Nerd, who lie for the company realize, when, not if, but when Joe Nerd goes down, these people are going to need jobs. Who in there right mind, is going to hire someone that contributed to their lies?

I'm not, and I'm going to remember each person I've talked too, and make sure they get outted. Now before you say that's not right, well hopefully I'll foget by then.

Well girls and guys, what are we going to do? Either we start a class action suit, report them to the BBB, call each towns, Seven on yourside, or troubleshooter, and lastly, the FTC/any other government agency, to close these guys down for good.

If we're the ones doing the work, we should be paid first, not the guys in the front office, who are probably getting stock options anyways.

Whose with me?

Re: What’s going on with Nerdy Work?

Hey Girls and Guys, here's some positions available for full time employment.

Email this person with your resume in a Word/WordPerfect Document: info@ezstaff.net

They don't have a website, just the email address. I emailed the person, and guess who emailed back. Aaron from, you guessed it, Joe Nerd.

I told him, right, I'm going to go on yet another call and not get paid again. I told him he should start paying his techs and maybe he wouldn't have to keep running ad campaigns every few months, and incase he was new, I told him I didn't get paid for the call I did in February.

To make matters worse, he emailed me again and said the conference call for Thursday was canceled and they would have another one on Monday (holiday).

Of course I told Aaron, that he should read his emails. If they send me an invitation for the conference call, I'm going to call in and voice my opinion. I don't know if we get to ask questions, but if we do, I'll ask some real good ones.

This seems to me, like they're starting to fumble all over themselves. They don't know who they used before, and who the ones they didn't pay.

They need to realize that we have enough peope to shut them down now. If we complained to all the blogs out there, plus write all the technical schools, and colleges, and our family, enough of the word would get out and they'll stop getting customers.

I read, not enough people complained to the FTC, so guess who I'm calling in the morning?

Some of us talked about a class action suit, what if all of us who were ripped off, call the ftc and complain. It's one thing to sit here and vent, but it's another to do something about it. Look at the people that they've hurting, and think of all the people they can still call who hasn't heard about Joe Nerd, and might go on a call, have to pay gas, and maybe tolls, and also might turn down another customer, and in the end they never get paid.

You guys have mentioned Johnny, we have to think of one thing here. If we put our private business on their network, whats to stop them from calling your private customer, and taking that account from you. They have all the information including how much you charge. They can easily out bid you, because you put all your information only.

If they're corrupted enough to not pay you, what makes you think they won't steal your information?

Let's stop them before they hurt more people.

Re: What’s going on with Nerdy Work?

I called Card Services today, since they now started charging me after the Introductory offer expired.

They informed me that if we haven't received pay or a credit card number to charge JN, we can put in an Agent Occurrence and explain what JN promised and hasn't delivered.

As stated above, she also told me to write a letter to their legal depart.

Hopefully this will work. I can put JN behind me, but I don't want to get charged for the next 36 months.

BTW, the more bad Agent Occurrences any agent gets reflects poorly on that agent, and they could have disaplanary actions taken against them.

Lets not forget to call the FCC, and your local TV stations with groups like, Seven on yourside, etc. etc.

Re: 50 Alternatives to Craigslist

It's great to have people offer these sites for us. I already knew of many of them, but a few more nevers hurts.

I especially like this information to help us advertise our Embroidery and Screen Printing company. I placed ad's on Craigslist with no response. Thankfully, I don't get discouraged that easily, and run ad's in other places.

We do know that it takes thousands of ad's to get a few responses. I guess we don't have a lot of viewers in our area. I've offered great deals on screen printing.

Thanks again for the free directories.

BlogMania

Re: If your a State Representative, don’t get caught with Porn at a High School

If you're a state rep...

Re: What’s going on with Nerdy Work?

Hello everyone, I have alot to mention but don't want to bore everyone reading this site. A few weeks ago I saw another ad NW/JN advertised on Craigslist. They attempted to higher more technicians for whatever reason. I would like to think it is due to all of us, especially OSM for getting the Word out.

I responded to the ad, not know it was NW/JN. When the New dispatcher returned my email he said he was from a new company called JN, and their is a conference call for me to call into.

I emailed the dispatcher back and told him of all our mishaps and that he shouldn't bother with me. I told him the reason they keep having to us craigslist to get new technicians is due to them ripping off all the first ones. Shortly after I received another email saying the conference call was rescheduled and he'll get back to me.

A month or so I saw received another email annoucing a new dispatch manager, and they actually named someone that was replaced. I lost count on the number of dispatch managers they've had now, including Matt Z. who works in another capacity now.

Meanwhile, I contacted First Data to attempted at getting out of the contract due to being mislead by NW/JN. They were very helpful and told me to contact their Legal Department inwhich she gave me the Legal Departments email address and fax, and she gave me a list of all the people involved with the merchant account. Those people were Thiet (spelling), W. Clarence, and a regional manager. I told her what Thiet's role is, and W. Clarence's role is.

She told me that those two people have to go thru the regional manager to get the merchant account program. It's like a dealer or distributorship they signed up for. Clarence is smart. He made Thiet the fall guy, and Thiet didn't realize it. Stuff rolls down hill, and I can bet what W. Clarnce response to all of this is. That's what happens when we think were doing the company a favor, and trying to become a big wig, and we step on the little guy (us).

First Data told me that they're going after this group, because for one thing it's illegal to misrepresent Loan/Mortgage, and Credit Companies. You don't think they're going to take the fall do you?

My account was then withdrawn another $134.00 or something like that. We called First Data, and they said this was like the 11th resonse back from this company NW/JN. They also sent us a letter saying we were refunded our $54.00, and then since two letters came around the same time saying One they're giving us our $54.00 back, and the other one that $134.00 was taken out, and that it was due to not being charged the money up front. I believe that was the so called Introductory program NW/JN told us we needed to get paid.

So, First Data canceled our account and refunded all of the money. Thank you Lord.

I would like to say that we're done, but W. Clarence emailed me himself and said, First Data told him he had to work with me and give me more calls. His explanation was that I didn't have a Profile Setup. I responded by saying yes I did, and that Mr. Thiet (again spelling), told me not to worry about that, and that I had filled one out.

I then shared with him my faith, and that he was going to be responsible no matter what anyone else did for him, or that he made do. Another words, even if he got out of it legally, God still requires for us to go through Him. I also said, why would I go on more service calls when I haven't gotten paid for the first two?

I received another email last Sunday, saying What calls. I gave him the ticket number, and I haven't heard from him since.

On my message machine I received a call from someone that is looking into a Class Action Suit. I'll return his call shortly and find out whats going on with this.

BlogMania, Out.

Re: Nerdy Work Conference Call in 1 week

I can't speak for everyone, but Nerdy works has still not paid me for two service calls. One of the calls they said they weren't reponsible for because they said they didn't give me a new number. That doesn't excuse them for the first call.

I've spoke to and emailed clarence and have to this day, never received one penny from them, and had my merchant account canceled by sending letters to First Data's legal department.

Clarence is a con artist, and will tell you what you want to hear, and will never pay you the money they owe you.
