Just 13 days to go and race is actually getting tighter according to AP. We have to do all we can.

in Re: Top 10 Reasons All Video Games Should be 2D on iMediaPress
Let me take this from your comment -
"What you believe is fun is not what everyone believes is fun. "
and this from your comment -
"I personally hated Gears of War. "
and let me mention this - Gow Was one of the most popular game of 2007.
And there you have it, proof that "What you believe is fun is not what everyone believes is fun. ". So you better quit playing games or trying to sound like an expert in the gaming culture.
Regarding your personal attack - "So 3D only rules in your mind and in the minds of other people with teenage like minds. You know, People who feel their inadequacies rather sharply."
Well, the way you take my words so personally that you need to start a personal attack tells me a lot about YOUR inadequacies. I mean for god's sake, these words were not about you. They were about 2D vs 3D.
Finally, if you really read this, I have not claimed 3D is better than 2D, I am just countering someone who DID claim the opposite. Where did you come in this picture, well I have no effing clue!
So it seems to me that your mind is little more effed up than mine.

Thanks for your comment. I think you have hit the nail on the head. I still love Mario and Tetris as much as CoD and Ninja Gaiden 2. Both 3D and 2D have their advantages and disadvantages and how to use the rightfully is up to the game developer. We have seen a lot of badly designed games both on 2D and 3D and that's the real problem.

in Firefox 3.1 Beta 1 Released (and it gives Beta a bad name) on iMediaPress
Safari is great if you don't rely on shortcuts via plugins. However, it is about time they put a major upgrade. Incidentally, Safari 4 is going to have SquirrelFish JavaScript interpret and ability to save webpages as applications. That must make it competitive with speed of FF3.1 and Chrome. Where is IE?

It is improved after disabling everything but it is pain to live life like that :-( Hope Mozilla could release Beta 2 soon.

McCain is so stupid that when it is time to unite the country against extreme odds, he still talks about "fight", "fight" and "fight". NoCain

in Thank these Representatives for Dow crash today on iMediaPress
Upside of the crisis is that the mask of 'maverick' is coming off of John McCain's face and a true political opportunist is emerging. The choice in this election could not get any clearer than this.

You had proved your ignorance in these lines - "Media thinks he is "the Messiah". I think he is a clown, liar, deceiver and will do anything to get into our white house". You didn't need to go and blabber any further.

Chrome Mac will be awesome. In the meantime, you can run it with VMWare Fusion. -

in Conventions Aftermath: McCain closing the gap on Obama on iMediaPress
Oh yes, I still keep getting "Obama is Muslim" emails almost twice a day. I bet if they could do it, Bush would win third term.

in Amid Protests, John McCain delivers Acceptance Speech on iMediaPress
Actually, it was not staged. The person protesting was Adam Kokesh - an Iraq War Veteran. You can read more about him here - http://www.libertymaven.com/2008/09/04/adam-kok...
However, it is true that Republicans knew such a thing was a real possibility and the delegates were briefed to chant "USA-USA" when such a thing happens. I am pretty sure John McCain had prepared few quips as well such as "ground noise and static" one you correctly pointed.

in Why Chrome and not a better Firefox? on iMediaPress
Fortunately, I am not aware that Google has tried to break any industry standards. Unfortunately, with chrome and JavaScript reforming, they might be one step closer to doing that.
So the question is "Does Evil Comes Naturally to Corporations?"

Seems like they might be willing to break some standards to get a headway in the market. If that happens, Google = Microsoft.

in Amazon begins streaming movies, plans for TV on iMediaPress
I agree in short term it might be only good for early adapters. However, in the long term, ability to have access to a huge movie library right from your couch will close down Blockbuster (and cause serious health consequences).
