What it do? (Paul Wall Texas accent) I like that one.
Good luck on getting more subscriptions to koichiben! I've been subscribed to it. Both the blog and youtube. I try and make out what I can. Good luck.

in Dry Natto (乾燥なっとう) | Tofugu.com on Tofugu Comments
So I woke up early and am going through random tofugu posts cause I can't go back to sleep...
I tried it! I tried the natto at my host family's house. My host mother hates it, but she told me to try it. She took a picture. haha. The brother and sister love it. I thought it wasn't too bad. It was an intense taste. I could eat it though... I didn't finish it, it was too much, haha. That is definitely an acquired taste. Needs like... a ton of salt or sugar? I told her that if I was starving, I'd eat it.

in Try our (Free) Tofugu Kanji Memorization Worksheet on Tofugu Comments
Fujiwar?
As for the worksheet, I'm probably being ignorant, but what exactly do you write on the boxes? If you don't mind? Mind showing a filled one? XD

koichi
top box is for you to write your kanji as perfectly as possible, along with the pronunciation in hiragana. The boxes below are just spaces for you to write the kanji over and over again. If your kanji is made up of multiple words, you don't want to put them all in one box. Instead, you write one kanji in one box. For example, the kanji for weather (tenki): 天気. Both 天 and 気 get their own box, and you repeat them until you run out of boxes.

in Japanese Online Translators: They Laugh at You on Tofugu Comments
¡Reiría cuando la gente utilizaría los traductores en línea en clase española! ¡Nunca vendrían fuera de la derecha! Haha. This is from, "I would laugh when people would use online translators in Spanish class! They'd never come out right!" It took "on the line" instead of "online" and then it says "They would never come out of the right!" Yeah, it doesn't work for Spanish and it definately doesn't work for Japanese!
Erin: ¡Me gusto tu articulo! ¡Lo hiciste muy bien! ¡Es posiblemente uno de tus mejores!
Excuse my lack of accents casue I'm lazy and forget the key codes.

in Use Mixi.jp to improve your Japanese (and make some friends, too!) on Tofugu Comments
Mixi! I remember seeing MySpace in Japanese and then stickam. Seems like this article took a long time. Nice! Thanks as well. Not sure if I could use mixi. It's not likely. Would be cool though. I saw that dictionary and was surprised that I saw it before! Well, hope it helps a bunch of people!

in Tofugu’s Japan Week in Review 1: Fukuda, Elevators, & Mochi Death on Tofugu Comments
Viet: Haha. I laughed when I read that! I was like "I didn't know guns were traditional Native American weapons." I mean... you could go with another loophole and be like "the white man brought us these weapons long ago".
I don't have a problem with whaling, unless it is on species that are dwindling and in danger. I'm also mad that they lied about it by claiming it to be research.
Whatever happened to dolphins? I used to hear a lot about dolphin controversy. I read somewhere that Heroes' Hayden Pannettiere is wanted in Japan for stoping an annual dolphin hunt. Interesting. haha.
The video was a lot clearer after reading the article. I think one of the biggest difficulties in making these type of blogs is choosing what is important to talk about and how to write about each thing. There's just so much info and things going on that it would be hard to choose. Good luck!

in 2007: Our past, present, and future on Tofugu Comments
WOW! It's been sixth months... I remember when I first caught this website after watching the "Learn Japanese from watching anime 5 minutes a day" video. Haha. Then coincidently my friend passed me Gokusen during the summer and then that post came up of being a "J-dramaholic" and soon came GTO then thanks to Erin FLCL. But I haven't watched anything sense then. Haha. Either way its been cool seeing this blog change over time and I think it's been getting better. Like I said before, I think this site is cool because its informative and amusing. I wish you guys the best of luck with all the future plans! As for suggestions, I'm not really sure, I'll keep it in mind, haha. Still say Tofugu shirt? haha.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!
Well... 2nd day of Christmas?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2Fe11OlMiz8 <-- Awesome!
I had wondered about Christmas in Japan. Apperantly another Kentakkii association I read somewhere was from "the chef". He looks like a skinnier Santa Claus. Also, the whole "smiling Santa on the cross" is crazy! Haha. I want to see images of that!
Christmas is just celebrated so differently everywhere, even in the US there are just different methods to celebrate it.
HAPPY NEW YEAR as well.

in Is Tofugu the Best Humorous Blog on Japanese Culture? on Tofugu Comments
Wow congrats on all the votes. It did just change a lot overnight. You guys have the most votes overall. Nice! As for the blog design, did you change the top again? I'm getting confused, haha. Cause I wasn't paying too much attention as it changed. I think I like it before, the font style or something. Maybe I'm just making up things. Ha. I like how it transitions from light blue to dark blue. I need to learn how to do all this stuff. haha.

in The Secret to Learning Japanese! Amazing! on Tofugu Comments
I was expecting "Eh?" at the end considering it was Canada Dry or whatever that's called. haha. I need to practice more... I haven't seriously since summer. Time to crack open those Japanese textbooks that I never gave back to my school during the break.

Nice article. Yeah, Japanese phones are advanced and USA's companies need to step up. That's kinda crazy about the novels. When are full feature films gonna be made on the phones? haha. Iphone3.0 "edit your videos and background music". That will be pretty intense right there.
Also, what happened to the layout?

That map kinda hurts, but its seemy true. In seriousness, generalizations suck. :D I like how North Korea is bigger than Japan. At least the map was almost right with Hawaii's location.

Erin:
Shrimp and corn all the way! Peronsally, I add lime. I want some now... I have some! But no, maybe later. Haha, maybe this summer, hopefully, but I can't even get things straight for a trip to Chicago. Haha, so I don't know how Japan will be done.
Online custom ramen would be amazing, but how would they mail them? Crunched noodle cups.

Haha. Awesome. Custom noodles! I wonder who's gonna start collecting the custom cups... Haha. For some reason, I like the shirt with the chick. Haha. Kind of random, but I do. I actually had my first cup of ramen in El Salvador. Also kind of random.

They could have just placed a big pokeball infront of him/she/it and then had the opening there... it would at least be less crude looking. Still this is hilarious.
