Disqus is increasingly getting popular among blogs. With the introduction of its API, i can't wait to see how others can contribute in spreading Disqus further.

This is what i called customization. Nice feature. I just switched to Disqus and noticed there are a lot of areas to explore on.

There are no permanent protection for most spams. The best is to have the development working towards solving and always protecting their system with updates.

Disqus should be flexible to detect URL changes. There are times where bloggers might also change their URL structure too.

Hi i am actually researching on disqus commenting tool for our company. New to the system and we are actually having small problems with it. Will we be able to export the list of comments with their emails out from disqus?

We have been receiving spam comments by this particular site which is constantly posting the word "gold" within the anchor text. With this word filter, we managed to escape this spammer. Thanks.

Automated spamming is the problem which we are trying to overcome. Disqus has worked pretty well for us.

I receive hundreds of emails on such acts every year. To the extend, i have to report it to my ISP provider to block such ip address.

I will not predict the future of SEO and put them in words. No one will know what might happen in years down the road. SEO might be dead or it may have a total facelift, who knows?

MSN is indeed an untapped source of traffic. Google has been upgrading their search technologies which will come into play for the first quarter of 2009 where ranking as a factor will be pretty much dead by then. Time to move to MSN and Yahoo.

Write for the humans not the engines. End of the day, the user will eventually be the one reading your title and description. Although it has been proved by many that similar meta description across pages will not harm your results, i will still advise the rest to follow unique meta description technique. Play safe.

It doesn't really matter that much whether your domain name falls under the specific industry. It is the constant effort that gets things moving up in SEO.
