The writer obviously can't understand that right "now", we are in very tough economic times where "everyone" can pitch in. Instead, the majority Democrats want to sluff things off and allow things to get worse. If our government was a business, it would no longer exist. Common sense dictates that a small amount of suffering now will reduce pain in the long run. Every little thing adds up.
How about a little common sense? We can worry about attacting legislative candidates later. The budget issue is staring us in the face now!
ahynes1 It is the mentality of people like Don that I find especially concerning. This, let's do something right "now" without thinking about if it is really for the good of our state is what I find particularly dangerous.
