in Contact Management-Top 10 Secrets to More Contacts and More Sales on Better Closer Blog
I think number five and number six are very helpful! Email can help you a lot; i can tell you out of experience...And, schedule a time is an important point too because if you don't do this you can forget your customers and this would not be very supporting for your company!

in Windows 7 Pre-beta Preview and Screenshots on Sizlopedia
Windows 7 will certainly be a hit in design like vista. But in features, I don't think so.
I'm really disappointed of Windows because of Vista, a lot problems by the installations and compatibility problems.

Hey dude
I realy wanna wish you only the best for you and your new blog. Yes your all right- there are alot of "problems" at the beginning, but problems only are challenges, and those challanges are also easily to manage- largely at least :)
But if there bigger problems, create a theme on your blog and start a discussion- and you will see/ there will always be an answer! Greets

in Aligning Business and Technology with People on Eric D. Brown - Technology, Strategy, People & Projects
Very interesting theme, i think also that cause of business and IT mis-alignment is that IT is not hiring the right kind of people. As a german developper i would say that the luck of technical knowledge of the IT produkt 's managers leads to problems in the company.on the other side technologists must have business backgrounds.

in If they could choose, would they stay? on Eric D. Brown - Technology, Strategy, People & Projects
Hey
In this times humans work like machines- They must be funtional.
It´s very cheerless, but this is the actualy truth. There´s nobody who ask you the question if you realy want this job- you must do it for your family/ because of high taxes and huge prices you didn´t have any choice.
There´s nobody which support your family.
In this time theres no room for wishes. But this system couldn´t work forever, because of missing satisfaction.I hope there will be an improvement, and everybody could take a choice and get his "pefect job".Standing up in the morning with a smile on your face- Utopia?

This investigation should be seen as a positive process, that strengthens democracy. Of course everything should be proofed as objectively as possible, failures or even crimes detected and the responsible persons brought to justice.

Very interesting episode again. Especially the W3C section is interesting; I just wonder how they want to implement it so fast as the standards are very slowly elaborated. Anyway hopefully it will work.

You are speaking about outside influences that may affect decision-making. What influences do you mean namely? While keeping a clean slate I suspect there is a lot of money involved, isn't it? After all that's human nature.

in Hide The Awful YouTube Comments, Keep the Good Ones on sarahintampa
Nice idea, as Phil already said the most comments are useless. On the other hand people only browse through the comments, when they are interested in reading it. Thus, this is awesome, because the creepy comments are still displayed.

in Suddenly, Web Browsing Becomes Clean and Simple with Google Chrome on RotorBlog.com
I really like the tabs in chrome running as own aplications and the better legibility of the source codes. When you skim through googles comic about chrome there are some other features that look really cool. But there is still a long way to go to cath up with FF as Mozilla is not sleeping either!

in Episode 5: Ryan Stewart of Adobe on Open Web Podcast
It's really nice to get some insider information presented this way. Ryan has a fresh way to talk and it seems that he advances his personal view, instead of just repeating the companies policies. I got some questions regarding the development of Flex/Flash, that I expect to be the standardformat for websites in a few years.
1. Although Flash already offers many ways for accessibility for disabled people, are there any other approaches following this topic, maybe regarding to the new webstandards, which I expect to be common in 3 years?
2. Where do you think are the barriers why so many web developers still don´t use Flash to create websites, since it´s just awesome?
3. Are there any efforts planed to make Flex/Flash open standard format or open source?

in Episode 4: Allen Wirfs-Brock, and Pratap Lakshman from Microsoft on ECMAScript, IE 8, and more on Open Web Podcast
Well, you are right that no tricks were removed. On the other hand it is still a lot of work rather much more work accured for developers to make webpages acceptable in all browsers. Chrome is much easier to handle, but as we know about 70 percent of all users still use IE and surely IE8 in near future.

in What will Google do with Yahoo Search? on Vinny Lingham's Blog
Hi Vinny,
I have just read your suggestions and it´s a pitty that Yahoos´ representatives didn´t follow them, viz. didn´t even discuss them on a higher management level. I don´t really care about Yahoos´ health or efficiency, but am annoyed about the disabillity of their management: For a company that is eligible to be a global player it is inexcusable to not consider the weak signals in their strategic process. It seems that they set up a sort of masterplan as an untouchable silver bullet. Well, unless strategies have to be reconsidered continously, Yahoo ought to detect the gap to their goals much earlier and react much faster. I am curious about the outcomes of Googles´ "consulting".

I really love this tradition, when I ever get married There will be one more lock!

Of course, there is no utopia, but you can build an organization that gives people the ability to enjoy their work. Treating people like machines is what has built business into a soul-less beast.
