in Thanks Mike Arrington for taking us off the rails into Twitter idiot land on Scobleizer
@charles - Oh - c'mon - my tweets are more useful than that. Actually, I just looked at my tweets for today - maybe they aren't!

in Now Back To Whats Important on The Lijit Blog
Definitely participate. If it's in July, I'll do it remotely from Homer if you can figure out how to deal with me. There's one sushi place (Alibi) that's in the back of a rough scrabble bar in Homer.

in New blog, new url coming on BijanBlog
Bijan - you shouldn't have to do "anything" to "move" your FeedBurner feed. The URL is totally portable - once you've got your new blog set up just go into your FeedBurner account and point your RSS feed (or Atom feed) at your FeedBurner URL. If you need help, email me and I'll stop being a VC for two minutes and be your tech support guy.

in Lijit Alpha? – Google Custom Search Engine Is Not Currently Suitable For Site Search on Andy Beard - Internet Business Systems Discussion
Andy - thanks for the direct feedback and for putting Lijit through it's paces. It's definitely early in the dev cycle at this point and the search dynamics are improving daily as the guys at Lijit tweak and tune it. I've forwarded this on to Stan James (Lijit CTO) and I'm sure he'll take a good look at the "How to Fix Lijit" suggestions.

in 80-19-1: Illuminating Insight on Value Creation In a Network on Disruptive Thoughts
It's really hard to figure out what motivates the 19%. I think two characteristics are (1) trivial for the end user to use and (2) highly self-referential value (e.g. whatever I use needs to have immediate value for ME). These two things drive the network effect - but in the absense of them, there's not much network effect. But - I'm still pondering and experimenting.

in The Phoenix Shield Firewall or How I Got a Ton of Traffic by Writing About Fictitious Technology on Knuckle Sandwich
While I love 24 and adore Chloe, I cringed when I heard this. It was too much, even for me. Blech.

in Brad Feld’s Blog is Down on Newest Industry
I got slammed with a denial of service attack this morning. Yuck. Al Gore promised me that he'd fix that, but I guess he hasn't gotten around to that.
Thx brad.
